my only guess is that they're trying to get good trades for the older players while they still can. The new guys haven't quite proven themselves yet (long term) - I'm right there with you though - it sux losing veterans :(

It sucks losing veterans..but in order for the team to be successful you HAVE to let the guys go.
Mcginest, Law, Milloy, Samuel, Branch, Givens, Smith.... the list goes on on BIG NAME players the Pats have let go, but they continue to be in the upper-echelon of the league
It sucks, but you have to do it if you want to be successful. Miami really exposed the defense last year, and they HAVE been getting older and slower. They needed to get younger

yeah you are right, but c'mon! i mean, to me vrabel was still looking good and younger, receivving tds, picking QBs, getting sacks. Did you see what the chargers did? they sold chambers, well, good luck for them.

I agree 100% They lost all their big defencive names last summer. Seymor, Vrabel, (Bruski retiered) and now our defence can't do shit against a team like the Saints!

i like brady, but i loved it when denver beat them on an overtime field goal and mcdaniels was goin nuts, but brady didnt shake any hands at the end and went straight to the locker room, what an asshole. he is good, but a sore fuckin loser
