You guys do realize she wasn't actually pregnant? It was a project as she clearly said on stereotypes. So why are yous saying she should have chosen abortion? Also, if you get pregnant honestly you shouldn't get an abortion unless you're dangerously young. There's always adoption, just saying. I suppose in certain instances it would be acceptable... Maybe... But why do that to a living thing when you were dumb enough to get pregnant anyways?
It's so easy to solve, GET AN ABORTION!! Is it really worth it to let your life be DESTROYED in order to appease the religious/superstitious/old-fashioned morons who are against it? It's your life and it's the only one you got.
@MisterKorihor It really doesn't seem that way after how harshly you speak about them. And yes I mentioned 100 years ago, because mistakes they made 100 years ago were fixed, it doesn't mean any of their stupidity has gone away, they just make mistakes on modern stuff now.
@MisterKorihor and 100 years ago, people insisted that men were better than women, and Caucasians were better than Africans, and psychologists and sociologists prescribed crack to people for depression. If you got a divorce you were highly looked down on too. People with hateful opinions like yours will always exist and will never get this world anywhere.
@lovexthexrachels 100 years ago!?!? What the hell are you talking about? You know, I think you just invented a new type of logical fallacy. Ad Historia Iniuria: A fallacy where one makes irrelevant references to historical injustices--even though it has nothing to do with the present discussion.
And, by the way, I don't hate teen mothers. I wish no ill will towards them. And I wish them the best. But I'll call a spade a spade. Irresponsible behavior is irresponsible behavior.
@MisterKorihor place. So if you're so concerned about teen mothers being parasitic towards society and being irresponsible, how about YOU get off a video about teen mothers on the internet and go volunteer teaching about abstinence. While teen moms work hard to provide, you get on videos to criticize young women. What a great example you are.
@lovexthexrachels PART 1: I shouldn't continue this discussion since you are becoming more irrational with anger.
You say that I have no right to complain about tax payer money. But I PAY TAXES! I, and many other people, would prefer it if taxes were lower or if the money went to other things (infrastructure, national defense, police, etc.) rather than irresponsible and ignorant teen mothers. (continued in PART 2)
@lovexthexrachels PART 2: And even tax payers who are gung ho about assisting teen mothers would prefer FEWER teen pregnancies. Almost everyone agrees that teen pregnancy is a bad thing. Psychologists and sociologists have studied the issue in hopes of minimizing this scourge.
I never said that I was "better" than teen mothers. But now that you mention it, I am better insofar as I never had a child when I was in high school. (continued in PART 3)
@lovexthexrachels PART 3: I was never so irresponsible in high school that I had a child and mooched off of society and family.
And as I said in my previous comment, I criticize teen mothers because they DESERVE criticism. I criticize any unethical behavior because to do otherwise would be to encourage more of it. (continued in PART 4)
@lovexthexrachels PART 4: And how does me making some truthful comments on YouTube amount to irresponsible behavior? I know it's your instinct to attack someone personally when you're angry, but you really don't know anything about me.
@MisterKorihor place. You obviously still have some luxury even though the government is giving money to teen moms. Where would you prefer it to go? Second, The way you talk it seems like you're an adult. What makes you any better than teen moms? Teen moms work hard to provide for their little ones. What are you doing? You're searching for videos so you can criticize young mothers because you have nothing better to do with your time. That doesn't seem like a very adult thing to do in the first
@MisterKorihor You act like teen mothers using tax payers money is a bad thing. What is tax payers money there for? It's to improve the quality of life for the people of this country. Would you rather the tax payers money go to prisons to provide extra pillows for the prisoners or to babies and children of mothers trying to provide? You have no right to complain about tax payers money. This is what it is here for and you obviously have a computer with internet so you're not bad off in the first
You'll never be able to have a clear insight on teen pregnancy until you have been there. People treat teenagers who are pregnant just like people treated Hester Prynne in the scarlet letter. There will always be someone to hate, and in 300 years teenagers who are pregnant probably wont even be looked down on society will find someone else to hate. Unless you have been a teenager and gotten pregnant no one has any right to talk. 80% of teenagers are having sex its just the unlucky ones.
@lovexthexrachels I have seen girls basically tortured by society for having unplanned pregnancies. They never tried to get pregnant, they used birth control and condoms and yet it happened. It is hard to watch as their friends and family label them rather than supporting them. They are the ones called whores and irresponsible even though as you said, 80% of teens are having sex and they were unlucky enough to get pregnant.
@lovexthexrachels Your comment is incredibly ignorant and stupid. I don't know how old you are--but hopefully you are very young as that would be semi-excusable.
First, teen mothers deserve some condemnation. Teen mothers are usually parasitic to society. They usually require government assistance (paid by taxpayers) and family and friends usually make great sacrifices to help. Parasitic behavior should be discouraged and disapprobation helps keep this antisocial behavior in check.
@lovexthexrachels Second, it's ridiculous to say that one has to be a teen mom to "talk" about the issue. Does one have to be a serial murderer to criticize Ted Bundy?
Third, you make it sound like getting pregnant is the luck of the draw. It's not. If you use birth control pills PLUS condoms, then the chance of getting pregnant is very low (about .03%). And abstinence until AFTER you graduate from high school is 100% effective.
@lovexthexrachels Fourth, Gaby LIED to almost everyone--including the parents of her boyfriend and even her own siblings. This is reprehensible. Imagine if you were the mother of the boyfriend and you were lied to for over 6 months. If her schoolmates were unjustified in criticizing her before they learned of her lies, then they are definitely justified in criticizing her now.
Deceiving family, friends, and schoolmates for 6 months is inexcusable (especially the parents of her boyfriend). If I was at that assembly I would have either booed her or walked away (or both). She really is a scoundrel. If this was a real psychology or sociology experiment, it never would have passed the ethics board.
And, by the way, that principal should be fired. An ethical principal would have blown the whistle on the whole project.
It doesn't matter how long we may have been stuck in a sense of our limitations. If we go into a darkened room and turn on the light, it doesn't matter if the room has been dark for a day, a week, or ten thousand years -- we turn on the light and it is illuminated. Once we control our capacity for love and happiness, the light has been turned on.
pregnancy is 100% preventable, teens need to be informed better, but there is of course teens getting pregnant on purpose because they don't want to join the workforce and earn an honest living, no they want others to support them for the rest of their lazy lives
thing is if the same experiment happened in my old school or any of the high's around it i dont think many other kids would b that shocked to see a pregnant teen wanderin round
@xoxlithium it may sound fucked up but it is a reality many do not want to accept. And about being ignorant.... lucky you do not live in Virginia, were 4 out fo 10 teens are pregnant, mostly being immigrants with no school and low income.
@689433 HA all the teen moms i know are way better moms than the adult ones and they all have jobs so STFU. You have no right to make assumptions about people you don't know.
@hiImDay hmmm how you can preach the moral in underwear? also if you take "those older mom" 35 teen daughter is 15 they have a kid as teen so there go your logic to the flush i am not saying all teens mom are bad but still you can't raise a baby at 15 get a grip
Wow what a horrible thing to say! To say that teen moms deserved to be shunned?? How is shunning them going to make things better? They need all the support they can get! She didn't do it to become famous. She did it because she had family members who were teen moms and wanted to experience what it was like for them. The media came after HER. Get your facts straight.
@krackhed999 Guess you are right. Teenagers will do anything to gain attention. (At least some will). So the media has run out of ideas. But that is worse. Isn't it?
Oh please, the problem is with these kids getting pregnant in the first place NOT with how they are treated. They should be shunned. High school kids getting pregnant is wrong no matter what way you look at it. It is their families responsibility to deal with the situation not the schools or community. I love how any time we tell a truth, when it is anything other than "that's wonderful", it is labeled as judgemental or stereotyping. She says that when someone says she was irresponsible it was stereotyping. Duh, an unmarried teen having sex and babies IS irresponsible. And what about the angst she brought to her boyfriend's parents? Now that was just plain cruelty in the name of a high school experiment. Typical selfish teen behavior. Oh wait. That was a stereotype.......
This is the most useless unimportant school project I've ever seen in my life! If you're unmarried/knocked up in High School of course others will look down on you! What's the point?Who cares? My son is going to be 17 in a few months. I'm going to have him put a large Cucumber in his pants (in the front, not back) & tell all the students he's had an erection thats lasted over 4 months & didn't call his Doctor. We'll let you know the results & maybe we'll be on nightly NEWS but I really doubt it
@rleary1 ...agreed. I don't see what the point in this 'experiment' was other than for Gaby to get some much desired personal attention. I guess the second (if any) point is to teach the kiddies that being pregnant in high school is no biggie and that calling someone irresponsible is wrong even if it is true because it hurts peoples' feelings and feeling good is the highest virtue.
@911insidejo8 I'm with U 100% I've raised 4 kids best I can stessing art/music/reading/creativity.. but I see a problem here & it started in the 80's (IMHO) I remember back around '89 when my young son's team won a local Soccer championship. They gave all Kids the same Trophy. My boy asked me 'Why do all Teams get the same trophy Dad? We came in 1st didn't we?' I replied, Son, I have no idea. I think success/failure is important in life. The story I described leads to events like 'Columbine'
@rleary1 ...They are raising kids to be so soft. Like the media hyping cyberbullying. It's like get off line if you can't handle it! Or even just regular bullying, adults act as if this is some kind of new phenomenon. And I'm not saying bullying is good, but as a society we don't have a remedy for everything. As stressful as adversity may be, it also permits you to develop character. I got bullied a lot in school and as awful as it was, it also gave me a very strong sense of justice.
I'm curious..Did she call her fake 'Pillow' meha or meho? What did the other Mexicans refer to the fake pillow as? Did they look at the covered pillow & say, 'Ooomh, I dinna like know you were pray-nant gurrl!! ooom, I was like what's dat?, an you were like 'Yes', an I ooomm was like, which of the twenny guys knocked u up gurl, an your were like oooom, all of dem! Yes, Folks, this was a really great experiment. Did not prove a damn thing but it wound up on the ooom, nightly news! ooooom...
@badfart43 It isn't about sterotypes down here TX. Most of the hispanic girls by age 17 have 2-3 illegitimate little bastards (yes, that is a word) by 3 different guys.TX awards them with WIC, Lonestar Card,CASA, free Habitat House,& if they're really lucky, the loser that knocked them up out of wedlock isn't a deadbeat they get 3 monthly child support payments! She's set for life! It wouldn't matter if she were white/black/Hispanic.She'd get the same preferential treatment no questions asked!!
@jeffrokc He probably meant male friends. The reporter said "boyfriend" earlier. It would make sense for her other male friends' parents to be concerned, too. Or at least we can only guess that since we don't know these people. Bah. That part's none of our business anyway ;)
So she had to appologize to people for trying to reveal how highschoolers treat a pregnant class mate? That's kind of not the point, is it? What exactly did she reveal though, there was no mention of what she achieved.
I wonder how all the abstinence people plan on enforcing abstinence? I mean alcohol is illegal to teenagers and so are illicit drugs and those laws are openly taught in the schools (D.A.R.E) and enforced (local/state cops, FBI, DEA, ATF, etc) ... yet teenagers still get booze and drugs. You can't stop drugs coming into the U.S. so how do you plan to stop a penis from coming into a vagina?
Give her about a week or two before she actually becomes pregnant! High School chics are Horny, they lie but they love to bang around! I mean who doesn't?
bristol palin is making millions...just a couple years ago she reported making well above six figures simply by preaching teen abstinence around the country.
If anyone should have been in on it it should have been her boyfriend & her mother, I understand it's an experiment but it's somewhat screwed up to not tell those two very important people ahead of time. Or at the very least tell her mom.
An excellent experiment and testing of others response. Pregnancy is not an easy thing and even tougher at a time in your life when your body and hormones are still changing every day.And having a baby, once it starts to walk and have a mind of it's own is a 24/7 Job and not for the faint of heart or those still in 'party' mode.
@c3t1f13dgoon But getting pregnant during or before collage makes it tougher, why not wait and then after that decide if that's a route to take in life?
@Introspective91 lmfao are you a retard??? did Demonic reply to you? NO..... its associated press and people on youtube that posts this video over and over.... so who is the idiot jerk now?
You guys do realize she wasn't actually pregnant? It was a project as she clearly said on stereotypes. So why are yous saying she should have chosen abortion? I'm curious..Did she call her fake 'Pillow' meha or meho? What did the other Mexicans refer to the fake pillow as? Did they look at the covered pillow & say, 'Ooomh, I dinna like know you were pray-nant gurrl!! ooom, I was like what's dat?, an you were like 'Yes', an I ooomm was like, which of the twenny guys knocked u up gurl, an your were like oooom, all of dem! Yes, Folks, this was a really great experiment. Did not prove a damn thing but it wound up on the ooom, nightly news! ooooom...

@roofy2k What did this accomplish? Nothing at all, but it made everyone at her school hug each other and gain more weight...
rleary1 10 months ago
@roofy2k It was about stereotypes
badfart43 10 months ago
@badfart43 It isn't about sterotypes down here TX. Most of the hispanic girls by age 17 have 2-3 illegitimate little bastards (yes, that is a word) by 3 different guys.TX awards them with WIC, Lonestar Card,CASA, free Habitat House,& if they're really lucky, the loser that knocked them up out of wedlock isn't a deadbeat they get 3 monthly child support payments! She's set for life! It wouldn't matter if she were white/black/Hispanic.She'd get the same preferential treatment no questions asked!!
rleary1 10 months ago
@rleary1 No in the video it said the project was about stereotypes. but i do agree

Wait, so they made the parents of her boyfriend(s?) suffer for 6 months not knowing if their son had gotten a girl pregnant?
Um, WHAT?!
metslvr19 10 months ago
isn't a stereotype a form of speech?

GABBO, who remembers this reference :D
MultiShevchenko 10 months ago
did he say "parents of gabby's boyfriends"?[1:09] the plural? multiple boyfriends?
jeffrokc 10 months ago 28
@jeffrokc He probably meant male friends. The reporter said "boyfriend" earlier. It would make sense for her other male friends' parents to be concerned, too. Or at least we can only guess that since we don't know these people. Bah. That part's none of our business anyway ;)

@jeffrokc LOL there goes the experiment

So she had to appologize to people for trying to reveal how highschoolers treat a pregnant class mate? That's kind of not the point, is it? What exactly did she reveal though, there was no mention of what she achieved.

I wonder how all the abstinence people plan on enforcing abstinence? I mean alcohol is illegal to teenagers and so are illicit drugs and those laws are openly taught in the schools (D.A.R.E) and enforced (local/state cops, FBI, DEA, ATF, etc) ... yet teenagers still get booze and drugs. You can't stop drugs coming into the U.S. so how do you plan to stop a penis from coming into a vagina?

cool story bro

bristol palin is making millions...just a couple years ago she reported making well above six figures simply by preaching teen abstinence around the country.

@Anglynn74 - Watch the video again and pay close attention at :30 where it says her mom, her boyfriend, and the school principal were in on it.
gorillaphotog 10 months ago 2
