He forgot one thing: The scanners don't even work. They can only see dense materials against the skin. Anything made of plastic is not seen, and anything even metal inside a body cavity is not seen. Meaning the most effective security device remains the metal detector since those can detect metal inside the body. The terrorists, knowing this, already put metal explosives inside the body. Only the bombed died, but the point is these scanners are actually a security hole. The terrorists win.

Funny how NO ONE mentions that the "underwear bomber" bypassed all security and had NO passport, yet he successfully boarded the airplane! How would a body scanner have benefited? Body scanners don't make us secure; vigilant good citizen make us secure.
It was normal everyday citizens that took down the "underwear bomber"! NOT the DHS.
Funny how we suddenly needed these scanner machines. And, funny how the scanner machine company received TARP money. And I don't mean funny in the "ha ha" way.
