  • be nice to the blender!!!

  • i had my dyson for 9 years and when it came to getting a new one, i fell for the other brands adverts and thought all vacuum cleaners must be as good as dysons by now and they are cheaper.

how wrong i was...... the vax i bought cost me £149.99 and was total crap. I went back to a Dyson and will never ever ever try another brand again!

  • I prefer Miele hoovers..

  • Why would you whant to bay a vacume it it get's treated like that!

  • dude.. they wouldn't treat a vaccum like that and sell it to you... the ones that are sold to you are brand new untouched from the line up... a few are taken off the line up for testing and experimentation..

  • Comment removed

  • @david10092 it's a testing facility... they don't sell you those parts... they're recycled...

  • The real reson why he dose this the them is so he can tell what causes the damage so someone cant clam for damage thay they have caused. In a way that's quite smart.

  • it's because henrys have a bowl

  • poor vacuums suffering through all that torture hahah

  • i am luked852 below this is my acount that one was my mates!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!+ive got 38 now!!!!

  • dysons are totally awsome they are very reliabil and easy to use they have thebest suction power of any other vacuum!!!!!!!!

I SHOLD NOW I HAVE 37!!!!!!!!! i even rote to the company they sent me aload of cool stuff!!!!!!!!!

  • @LuKed852

You should really learn how to spell !!!!

  • @LuKed852

I'm impressed they managed to read your letter!

  • That is not entirely true.

  • Yes they have started some of the testing and research there. You know what that means soon don't you. All will be transfered there so they can get Research and Development done cheaper like they do their manufacturing. I will not be suprised if this happens within the next 7 years or so.

  • All of Dysons work is now in Maylasia, this includes production, testing and some of the research, I for one will never ever buy one again nor recommend one, I tested a Dyson with a bagged cylinder Miele to test the suction when the bins/bags were full, which one won the test.........................................................................................yes, the Miele!

    bet you didn't know that......

  • Have you ever noticed the Miele lose a bit of suction? I used to use one at my cleaning firm and the suction did drop a bit I noticed it.

  • The test was with a random selection of Cylinder cleaners v the Dyson, all the others were awfull, but when the Miele was tested it beat the Dyson everytime, as to wether it lost suction I don't know as that was not being tested at the time. The video was obviously not used in the "Dyson" promotional video for the European market. It prooved though, that the Miele maintained more of its suction when full compaired to the Dyson.

  • you have to change the filter every 6 month

ho surprise it cost 25 buck +the bag+the machine

=the same price of the dyson after 5 years

and the product is done in china like the other

  • Dyson is so expensive because there are so many stupid people out there that will pay 3 times more for the same ubiquitous vac motor and 2 quarts of crap plastic just because its molded to look like it might suck up space creatures. You all make me sad

  • Does anyone know why Dysons are so expensive? Is it because of the patents that are put on them? I see that Hoover is coming out with cyclonic technology for a fraction of the price of a Dyson.

  • The Cyclone technolgy in a Dyson will allow you to fill the bin to full and still maintain alot of the suction, this will drop but only slightly, "other" Cyclone machines can only mimic the cyclone action and do not perform as well as a Dyson and will lose suction alot quicker, a Dyson has a lower wattage motor compaired to other machines, other machines rely on the higher wattage to give more suction at first, but this will drop dramatically when the bin starts to fill.

  • This is not true cyclone technology offered by others maintain suction such as the Vax mach range. I do not like these heavy machine but they have No Loss Of Suction too.

  • It is true, look at every other cleaner next time you shop and look at how the other makes display the wattage of the motor on their cleaner in big bold letters, i.e. 1800, 2000w, now look at Dyson, nothing, the wattage is only 1400, the extra suction is generated by the Cyclone technology, other manufacurers can only mimic the cyclone action, it cannot be the same due to copyrights. They claim no loss of suction, this is most prob. only when the bin is empty!

Vax is one of worst vacuums!

  • they are expensive because they are so good. I love my Dyson Animal.

  • Wrong.

  • oh really?? is that true??

  • @JJ9715 the cyclone is patented.

  • i have a dyson dc04 and on that video it doesent look like there testing them ITS MORE LIKE RECKING THEM!

  • No, the testing these machines are going thru is called HALT (Highly Accellerated Life Test). Testing is ramped up over a short period of time to work out how long the machine will last in normal use, in this case 5 years+, hence the 5 year warrenty offered by Dyson at present.

For example, mr/mrs average may use their cleaner for 2 hours a week, so a test is done 24hrs a day for 6 weeks say, this will allow engineers to check the machine over for things like stress fractures / weaknesses etc.

  • im not sure about dysons...people either seem to love it, or have terrible experiences with them.

  • After watching many commercials on Dyson, I decided to buy the DC14 and I have been extremely disappointed with it's performance.

A piece of string might take 4 passes and sometimes I have to reach down and pick it up and throw it back down so it will pick it up.

A 300 sq ft living room takes way too much time to clean in my opinion.

  • umm...if you tak the time to pick it up, why throw it down again?

  • for kicks.

  • DYSON !!!

  • My dyson DC07 broke after 4 years average use

    £50 of repairs

  • It remained standing.,

  • soon robots will do our vacuuming i wana see them put a dyson in a washing machine

  • Can you tell me where I can download it or can you post it to me??

  • You can use YouTube downloader to download and use for yourself any video that is on YouTube. Try searching for 'You Tube downloader' in a search engine.

  • That's good. I have a Dyson DC04. Not sure if its as durable as the newest ones.

  • He's hardly a consumer reporter as he runs a vacuum store with Miele as one of his brands. Typical sales mumbo jumbo. Miele is best, nothing else works. Miele also has one of the highest profit margins. I wonder if that has anything to do with it. Also wonder why he doesn't allow comments on any of his reviews. Kind of odd for a "unbiased consumer guy" don't you think?

  • hey i own a filter queen. i bought a miele and hated it. it threw dust up in the air and every time i used it i would hack a lung. so i went with filter queen and havent had any breathing problems. but i do know his dyson test is acurate. i tried one at sears and got the same result. plus their brushroll is to stiff.

  • Miele is made in Germany. Dyson is made in Malaysia. It costs more to make things in Germany. Dyson moved UK production because it was cheaper. Rubbish therefore about profit margins on the properly engineered and manufactured Miele. Dyson is rubbish as well as cheaper to make.

  • LOL probably because you cant afford 1

  • i dont need to pay 600 dollars for a piece of plastic that cant pick up popcorn. i purchased a filter queen which is alot more expensive than a DYSON dumbass. i paid well over 1200.00 usd for my filter queen. learn prices before you start making retarded remarks. there is this book called consumer reports. you will notice that dyson is always listed as the most unreliable vacuum. and another note! if it dosnt loose suction or clog then why are there so many ports to clean out where it clogs?

  • Congratulations do you want a trophy now?

  • kiss my ass you little pompus self alluded asshole! im smarter than you and ive repaired many vacuums. your not the smart one here so go play with the kiddies.

  • STFU you white piece of shit haaaha you fix fucking vacuums nice job huuh genius

  • i fix vacuums among other things you dumb fuck! obviously your a freggin retard. I am a architect with side businesses. everyone if this is what is to become of the next revolution of humans after our generation is gone i feel sorry for the world. stupid fucks like this one will be liable to blow up the earth. we wont need bush to do it they will.

  • I think you mean, "*You're* not the smart one." Nice.

  • LOL i just bought 1 yesterday at Best Buy & WOOW man it works so fucking awesome amazing power man this Dyson product is worth every penny too bad you say it sucks lmso

  • unfortunatly even a simple dust buster can pick up lint. frankly you are a idiot for paying that much money on a piece of plastic. Dyson manufactures these vacuums for 45.00 that is what best buy buys them for. how much did you pay??? oh really 500.00? how sad i feel sorry for you when in a couple months it decides it needs repair.

  • The "ports" are not to clean out where it "clogs", they are there for a reason, the U bend on the bottom is to trap pens etc, when sucked up via the hose, say from under a chair, the side one will prevent large objects that have been vacuumed up from the head, going into the bin, so will get "trapped" again in the bend, you will not know "it's blocked" until fluff etc builds up behind these objects. Hope that clears up your question as to why these ports are there.

  • I love that advert - and all the clips at that website is advertises are really good. It's nice to see yuor own dyson being tested if it's there.

  • oh my goodness that's so awesome
