  • Just posted this on my facebook group 'Support UK Bands'

  • HUh. Not bad. I'm still listening a minute in.

  • Solid Punk Rock - 30 years after their initial success, and they still got it!

  • Okay, so I came late to the party, but this song kicks ass (certainly for this century of course). It's good to have them back.

  • most excellent

  • this is epic!

  • I like the "new improved Go4 with extra fresh sound"

  • I had to good fortune of hanging with the Gang at their after party last week in NYC. They were such sweethearts, especially the new bassist, Thomas McNiece. He's a real cool dude and a nice addition to the group.

  • Seeing them tonight in Chicago!!! Can't wait!!!!!

  • I have been following Gang Of Four for 25 years. One of my favorite bands and really happy to see and hear them around again. Real music for the people to hear. Pay attention!

    Bill Walsh, Brooklyn, New York.

  • Another vote (from an ancient relic Go4 fan) that says this rebooted band is bollocks... gritty does not equal cutting... scraping does not equal scathing... and you can pander while still "retaining your principles"... this song (and the others on pre-release) is the essence of predictable, boring, unfresh, heard it before agitprop... they have the spirit, but not the feeling...

  • I suddenly feel like dancing

  • I want Andy's Stratocaster!

  • Haha. Sounds like a song by The Hives. Sad.

  • @iamghosttrain yeh... I wonder where they nicked all their material

  • Fucking love this band, seeing them live next Wednesday too!

  • These guys not only have not lost their edge, they've gotten even better! This is a killer song off a killer album.

  • I was a bit apprehensive when I heard they have a new album, cause I was hooked on them since the Entertainment days, and they are my age now... but yes, THEY STILL GOT IT! Great music, GOF!

Andy, your playing is still unique and highly inspirational. Thank you.

  • First let me say that I love Go4. Always have, always will. But I must say that this video is embarrassing. These guys are the dog's bollocks and need not pander to anyone. Someone's been whispering in their ear and if this is the result, methinks they need to listen start listening to those voices in their heads again which made them so fecking brilliant in the first place. Calm yourself there Mr Gill before you have an aneurysm.

  • This song fucking rocks. I'm seeing them in Chicago next month...can't wait!

  • True POST-PUNK innovators of FUNK ROCK genius! Six steps forward from To Hell With Poverty.... No steps back. The new 2011 album "Content" has shining moments of brilliance built on the foundations laid in Entertainment, Solid Gold and Songs Of The Free. Top picks from the album include You'll Never Pay For The Farm, You Don't Have To Be Mad and Second Life... RIPPING!!!

  • IMO, their best studio material since Songs of the Free ^^ two thumbs up

  • True PUNK Genius ... Love the new CONTENT!!!

  • Sounds great to me. Love these guys! I will buy this album.

  • Bass player needs a haircut.

  • So excited, can't wait to get my grubby little hands on "Content."

  • Just HOW GREAT are GO4??

  • Great to hear The Gang again! Unique sound . . . and to hell with poverty!

  • Great stuff. I bought the album "Entertainment" when it came out. Damn I'm old.

  • Hell yeah, that rocked! Love this band, now and forever. Can't wait to see them in concert next month!

  • These guys are my heroes. And I love when heroes reform with good intentions. But I'm sorry, this bass player looks like such a douchebag. Bring back Dave and Hugo now you old bastards.

  • Fuck Eno. Gill is god.

  • expectations were sky high, I had the shivers hearing that sound again, song is quite good, it's Ok gang, I really enjoyed reading the comments here, good and bad, hey so we have Gof, killing joke, wire etc still around it's cool!

  • Love it! Nothing hits the spot like the Gang. Everytime I put on Entertainment, Songs of the Free, etc. I marvel at how good it sounds. Glad to have new songs. Come to Detroit!

  • Damn - They still got the licks!

  • Pathetic clapping audience...

  • @CatObsessed: That was probably just the crew -- this is essentially a music video so no real audience was there.

  • Take it out of that! excellent song and video, Dont let the EDGE or Bono see this or you can imagine what U2,s nex album will sound like, Ive been into this band since the first album, their integrity and freshnress still stands in tact, long may you last, look forward to Dublin gig! they demolished the place in 08, ONWARD AND UPWARD!

  • It has that raw guitar sound that we loved from Entertainment - Rockin'!

  • What's with all the posing and gurning?

  • Oh wow. This is so generic. Very dissapointed.

  • We'll never get Entertainment! again but this is pretty good. Saw the band live at the first reunion tour and it was one of the best shows of the year. I'm looking forward to the band touring on this new album.

  • The guitar/bass work is classic 1979, returning in good form. Vocals/lyrics are a HUGE step backward, however. Regardless of the detriment, I still really enjoy this new work of theirs.

  • yeah! good song! sound quali is awful here though! want to buy viny lp l!! :-)

  • i'm happier seeing 4 true comments than lady gaga having 50million!

    GANG OF FOUR!

  • Really gritty. I think it sounds great.

  • Ah, the sweet epileptic chicken-scratch guitar of Andy Gill... Looking forward to the new album!

  • bentornati !
