Hon, If u were here I would take u out tonght. My headphone tip broke in my ipod I went to the apple store but they couldn't help me, I was told to see a jeweller because they had small tools that could probably help,Hony! I have a great collection of songs from Jay Z to Adel I asked everyone n no one could help I was about to cry ahhhh! I use this ipod in the gym daily. Saw ur vid used the tube of a pen no glue and it worked aahhh!!! screamed with joy OMG!! Thank you sooo much!! thanks Babe..
Thanks man, that totally fixed it...but in my case I simply used the part of the jack that's on the inside and kinda looks like a nail (since I won't be using that jack anymore anyway) and it's a perfect fit :D
Had a broken tip in my Motorola Xoom tablet - saved me a ton of money as it worked like a charm. Was skeptical to be honest, but I let it sit a good 10 minutes or so to ensure it was dry...and it popped right out like his video!
hey, my headphone jack broke off at the opposite end, where the remaining part of the headphone is a hole where a short rod goes in, is there anyway i could get it out?
@Roughsauce I can't really picture what you're explaining, but if there is a hole that a toothpick can fit in in the part stuck in the device you should be able to get it out with this method.
I love you no homo! LMAO! i had like lint suck in my ipod and cudnt get it out but the lint was all hard and solid so it didnt really break but it works now thanks to this method! I thought my dre beats were broken i wouve been so pissed!
@MikehMike01 If its a silica bead it should be relatively easy to just break it apart with a needle, if it's a plastic bead you may be able to get a needle around the edge of it and pop it out.
Other than this method, it there any others? I've tried burning the tip of a paper clip, using pliers, I even went to the Apple store about this, and none of it seemed to work.
@NerdIku3 This is my improvised version of some other guy's method, except he used something to fit around the tip of the headphone, my method goes into the headphone. If non of those methods work then there's probably something weird with the tip of the jack, maybe less broke off than in my video or it's pinched.
OH MY GOSSHH thank youuuu . this happened to me the other day and i really didnt feel like buying a new ipod . THANKSS SOO MUCHHH !
