  • I just got a rlly nice one today, but I'm not allowed to do the impression part until my mom gets home :( poopy !!!

  • Dr. Joe Neely seems one of the few honest, sincere, nightguard explainers. The only problem is he unaware of using EMG to diagnose accurately now. You can now rent an ipod sized unit, from a dentist, to get an ironclad diagnosis or rule out TMD, before you start paying for appliances or cosmetics. I like FDA approved Grindcare, since you can turn on the optional CES to stop the TMD. Google Grindcare USA, before you start treating based on assumptions that risk mis-diagnosis or mis-treatment.

  • I lost 2 teeth from this damn problem...dentist was no help..he said I could have a mouthguard but they were expensive..so its ok for me to lose teeth as long as I dont waste the nhs money..yeah right idiot. Anyway I bought some designed for teeth grinding for £5 from Amazon and they are fantastic..sometimes self help is the only way..gl with this anyone else who has this damn awful problem.

  • My dentist took my impression, she dosent speak good English . And when she took it the plaster stuff went to the back of my throat and I could breathe. I passed out.. Stupid dentist wasn't paying attention . I pointed it out to her...

But I love my mouth guard !

  • my dentist has taken my impression, night guard should be done in 2 weeks

  • How long does it take a dentist to make a night guard? I see Dr. on Tues. and wondering how soon I can get it. My jaw is in pain b/c of store guards. Hope you can answer me by Tues. ;) Thanks

  • @nicholpub the funny part is the dentist doesn't make the nightguard.. he sends it to a dental lab that makes the nightguard and charges the dentist who doubles the price so you end up paying like 3-400 dollars.

  • @Newspeakgeneration Basically what you're saying is that a dentist does exactly what other businesses do with their inventory. You buy a product and increase the price to resell it for profit? You must not know very much about running a business, because a typical markup is doubling the price. How do you think the dentist pays his/her staff, provides benefits for the staff, keeps his power bill paid, and can take home a salary?

  • My mom came up to me and said "Why do you always grind your teeth at night?" And I was like "I don't grind my teeth" And she gave me a night guard and I hated it. The night guard was uncomfortable and didn't fit my teeth. The night guard even made cuts in my gum when I woke up in the morning...

  • You have a very good point, Ty

  • @xbox7436 I have the same prblm, started havin dreams about my teeth falling out (my biggest fear if I don't get this fixed) the only solution is to see a dentist and get a night guard..I'm not covered on a dental plan right now so ..FUCK basically lol

  • @xbox7436 --get yourself some plain bleaching trays from your dentist --should be free or maybe $20 dollars.
