The Baptist church is the "true church". Read the Trail of Blood by Dr. J.M. Carroll. The COGIC is a split from the Baptist Church and the Baptist church has always been saved, santified and filled with the Holy Ghost.

The Bible only speaks of holiness. No denominations are mentioned. All denominations are "man made". The Baptist church has not always been filled with the Holy Ghost. In fact, that is why Bishop Mason split from the Baptist church because they fought against the teaching of being filled with the Holy Ghost and living a seperated lifestyle. Who are you trying to fool? Come again. The Bible supercedes any other book.

First and foremost check your COGIC history Bishop Mason applied for the pastorate of a baptist church and left due to his rejection of the pastorate of that church. Second historically the baptist church is the only church that believes the entire bible and in eternal security. This is not even a conversation to entertain, it is not God edifing. False. How can the Baptist church be the "only church that believes the entire bible" when historically, they denounce speaking in tongues and override the moving of the holy ghost. So I guess nobody was saved before the Baptist church came into existence, huh? If the *traditional* Baptist church is the "church that Jesus built," why have they historically rejected the gifts that Jesus has given the Church, both in the form of the recognition of the ascension gifts and the charismata? Thank God many of them are coming around to that now, but for most of its history, the Baptist church has rejected that.
