looks like fish in the water fighting over food, are they danceing, whats with the up side down is that when the enemy captures them they will know how to swing by a rope tied to thier legs.this aint martail arts this is dance class 4 the gay.20 yrs martail arts..real fighting thank u very much.
I want to see this work against somebody who knows what he's doing and who's not with Systema. Once. For all these videos of trainings and seminars - a single test outside of the system. Kyokushin people do it. Sanda people do it. Sambo people do it. Even Shotokan people do it. Systema people - never, they are too "real" and "dangerous" to be put to a test.
To anybody with a skeptical mind, a lot of buzz and no proof sounds a lot like "fake".
@ennot Scepticism is always important. You do understand that systema is taught at everything from mma gyms to karate dojos right? Did you know that MANY blackbelts from other systems have completely abandoned their previous art for systema? Most systema instuctors welcome people to come to a class so that they can get a feel for it themselves. I recommend going to the systemacanada channel right here on the tube. Also check out alex costic who teaches mma as well. It's much better than this!
@ennot I agree. There are posers in every aspect of life. Did you check out my suggestions? I guess it depends on what you mean by "tested". There are many "full force" clips here on the tube if you have the time to look. People aren't exactly filming themselves getting mugged right? I've come across several clips of russian soldiers going all out on eachother. I would also recommend sonny puzikas. He's former military and pretty hardcore. I guess it all depends on how interested you are.
You need to understand that Russian soldiers don't do Systema. What you see on youtube is either fantasy films about how Systema was developed in Russian secret military labs, or just people dressed in uniforms.
Here an actual ex-GRU explains about martial arts in the military: watch?v=4czKjJpy-hc. "He must lose his rifle, his side arm, his knife, and then find another naked idiot. If you don't use your weapon you're dead.. the group is destroyed"
@ennot Yes... suggestions. I've pointed you in several directions but you don't seem to be interested in researching them. It was spetsnaz that used systema. GRU used other forms of russian hand to hand (sambo,etc.). You should make sure that you have done the proper amount of research. If all you do is check out youtube clips then you will never fully understand anyways. I've been researching systema schools for years. Some are shit. Some are incredible. Contact instructors with some questions.
@ennot What? Hard evidence? I told you to look up sonny puzikas. He's former russian military who learned systema... IN THE MILITARY! I don't care about what they "need to do". Our conversation is about systema's validity and/or it's use in the military so please stay on topic. Again, do the research. I've spoken to people who train systema and they all seem to be glad that they aren't wasting their time learning a sport but also has more to offer than simple combatives.
@creepychris11 I've done the research. Nobody who could be verified to be connected to any special forces in Russia ever endorsed Systema. Except its creators and benefactors.
On the other hand we have Systema films: watch?v=MQqLBrmWycY going down the path of no contact fighting watch?v=DyWQEcI7Kgo
@emiller0098 this is the same Systema and the same people, my friend. They just follow the good business practice and diversify their offering to cover the widest audience possible
@ennot it is not. look at geridojo (i believe i spelled that correctly). he has a wonderful channel where he teaches online. he has done so for 35 years. and himself does not believe in the no contact combat. secondly i do 4 arts and dabble in my father's two. he is a former navy seal and a 4th dan blackbelt in a hybrid branch of Karate. he himself has faught and killed russians. none "no contact" stuff is real, the same as dim mak isnt real. i know nothing, but i seek the truth. this stuff isnt
@ennot If you really have done the research, you wouldn't be so dismissive of systema. Let us not forget... the asian arts are FULL of no contact ridiculousness and we don't automatically dismiss ALL of it right? There are good versions and bad versions of any "system". If systema is done properly, then it works. That is all that matters. I've been more than gracious with you and you seem to have already formed your opinion so I'm done with this.
i swear to god if crap one of them i will kick his sorry ass what joking mess is this this is real life not a cartoon if they r for real lets see them in ufc
@Gmbrz Sorry to mention, but your comment is quite fail. In case you don't know, UFC is a tournament bound by safety rules to ensure safety of players. In real life there are no rules and anything goes. So saying that ufc is "for real" is really a joke. And try not to judge the efficacy of martial arts by just watching videos. If you really want to see how efficient Systema is try it for yourself and don't assume from the videos you see, since they are just training (which is why it is slo mo)
Bullshit

@creepychris11 I also know that many black belt people are complete and utter bullshit. I'm seeing a fair share of them in American karate clubs.
Any videos of Systema being actually tested?

@creepychris11 Is there any hard evidence?
The man in the video is at least real, and he's pretty much laughing at the idea of any MA in specnaz. What's the evidence to the contrary?
The only use of a combat system in any kind of military today is to boost moral and make exercise less boring.
In reality they need to run and shoot. Police specnaz needs arrest and crowd control. Never do they need to fight w/o weapons.
Get real, you're just being lied to
