no its exactly the same, the camera was on a tripod and he was the only one in the room, therfore it would be very hard to get splitscreen to work that well, its 100% true he knows how he got the numbers and only he will ever know get the fuck over it.

look at the bottom of the ball, its still in contact with the bottom of the holder, the most likely explanation for the top looking like the ball had gone up is either thermal expansion causes the ball to pop up during the lottery draw, or an artefact from the encoding of the video. but its TV you say! well, it still has to be recorded and encoded before it is transmitted: this is a digital TV!!!
He actually did it not by magic or not by split screen blah blah blah he did it by a whole load of different complicated events which lead to him rigging the lottery numbers so it was no other ball which came out he revealed all on Friday night sooo no trick just the wonders of Derren Brown (: x

It's split screen using a motion controlled rig, you can see at one point the camera shake suddenly stops and is perfectly still. This is to hide the transition where they remove the mask.
