Early on I always thought Jamal and Leni had the best on screen chemistry. Alex-Tina was believable, but even as a kid, I always felt that Jamal-Leni was the REAL couple of the show...

Lenni had to do something with the note. What I mind is the way she acts as though Jamal lied to her back at her place when he had in fact told her the truth. And the way she says "you're right, it was", not really the answer I would have liked.
