  • No njnpoet1980 had the better question from the start.

    The "secret ballot" isn't secret, companies hire union busting firms like littler-mendelson or jackson lewis to find out who supports joining a union and fire them illegally. Do a youtube search for- secret ballot in name only.

    But even if it were secret, EFCA doesn't eliminate it the ballot as an option. Employees can choose whether to use card check or a non-secret ballot.
