This is not Adobe, this is Cob! Abode is dried bricks stacked then plastered, Cob is a monolithic brick meaning 1 solid brick.

This looks great but IMO nothing can compare to a MDI dome or an AI dome made of concrete they are super strong and not too expensive the return is on energy saved and money saved with insurance rates. Concrete domes dont burn when wildfire comes nor do they blow away when tornado strkes. With the new solar panels that act like leaves a dome can be coated with panels easier.

The techniques that you are using to build this house are called "Cob". Adobe is quite different.

No bricks. The walls have support logs standing vertical. Not sure about reinforcement, it is not mine, it is from the movie, made in 2005. Yes, the place has annual rainfalls (it is not far from Moscow). These type of construction has been very common on the territory of Russia for centuries.

bricks weren't used to construct the house? were the walls only made of adobe, or were they reinforced from within with wooden sticks?
