  • "This band is going to descend like a zeppelin from the sky."

    -Pete Townshend?

  • @zekezarate *Keith Moon

  • Bonzo died because God wanted drum lessons.

  • ..Fuckin CLASSIC!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 6:53からのワンフレーズ

  • my all time favorite from Led Zeppelin - this just doesn't get old

  • A sentence noone will ever say, 'the drums from this song remind me of that lady gaga song'.

  • @shack8110 - Well How dare lady gaga!

  • This song deflowers virgins.

  • @metafis HAHAHAHA HHAHAHA HAHAHAHA INDEED!!!!!!

  • "I got to get together with you girl, by murdering & plundering the planet, because you need all those baubles, gold rings & jewels that are other people's property, so I'll go killing across the planet to get that plunder for you."

    Nudging.

    Product placement.

    SATAN

  • @centurion180ad Yep. Well, Page, Bonzo and Plant all made a pact with the devil. We all know Page was huge into Crowley. So it would make sense they would invoke such things. Keep a light heart though, this is still incredible beyond words.

  • 6:08 - aaaand let the headbanging begin.

  • The original song was called How Many More Years by a blues artist called Howlin' Wolfe. It was the done thing back in the day, even The Stones did it. They called it 'borrowing' the song and rerecording it with ur own sound. They did a fab job, what a track, what a band. Loved 'em since I was 16 which was 20 years ago! But their music is timeless. Hats off to Bonham and JPJ on this particular track.

  • I almost cried at this bass line..

  • The bass by John Paul Jones. eargasm

  • I don't care if this song was lifted from an earlier Yardbirds thing or not -- this is beyond fucking heavy. This is a wilder trip than "Stairway" by far.

  • @dustrabbit It also doesn't matter if this was lifted from the yardbirds considering zeppelin was formed from them.

  • Bonzo could beat the shit out out of Chuck Norris any day.

  • no viagra needed here

  • The beginning of this song ... uppercut knock-out !

  • They should have just played this through the speakers at the grammys and sent everyone except the Foo Fighters home.

  • sex good, zoso better, together perfect, oh rosie, call me hunter ...

  • The masterpiece!

  • badass song

  • Jeez. John Paul Jones. Def Con 1. The best tune ever. Ever.

  • i dont know anything about rock music

  • @twototwo1 too bad, i repeat TOO BAD for you, but if you dont know, you are in the right place to know!!!!!!!!

  • I was 17 years old and in our neighborhood we pooled our cash and bought this LP and put it on one of our parent's old fashioned Stereo Console units in the living room and turned it all the way up...............Eargasmic! You thought we dropped acid hearing this for the first time!

  • 5:49 - One of my favourite beats by Bonzo. So fucking badass!

  • Frickin jam!!!!!!

  • @MsCargento It's Ok to type Fucken'. You won't offend anyone here.

  • I was driving with my friend and I played this song on a cd I made. I turned to him about three minutes in and asked, "doesnt this song fucking rock? my face is melting." He had the balls to say "Nah, not at all." He hates classic rock and says that phase of his life ended when he was twelve and that he's moved on to true music like wiz khalifa and dubstep and shit. I told him to check if his door was open, and made a sharp left turn, he wasnt wearing a seatbelt, he flew out the fucking car.

  • @eggowaffleboy7 best youtube comment i have ever read....accolades

  • That's a pretty bold statement, I have some very wild dreams. But I'll subscribe in good faith! Thanks for sharing!

  • How many more times can i listen to this and still love it every time.. guess i'll just have to wait to find out.

  • funny how i see that zeppelins tunes have lasted over four decades now show me a new artist whos music stays fresh for four days maybe a week if they get lucky

  • words can not explain this from the deep depths of the SOUL oh Rosie oh girl

  • True enuf

  • Lick my balls

  • Led. Zeppelin. Forever.

  • can you see the dislike bar?....i cant, it doesnt exist

  • meant to be played very loud or on headphones...

  • I subscribed, now when can I expect Zoey Deschanel to show up in my bed, naked?

  • only cuz my last beer tasted better ,

  • Okay

  • 'Dat bass.

  • i felt the fucking need to listen to this song right after I can't quit you baby.

  • @littlefrank90 haha me too. First Baby Come on Home, then I Can't Quit You Baby, and then How Many More Time. Maybe The Rover next....

  • The best fuckin tune !! Jimmy Page is the man!!

  • 2-man band called the Never Brothers did this at Texas Blueberry Festival!

  • watch out! somebody could get pregnant just by hearing the riff!

  • plants scream gives me shivers...

  • I love playing the bass riff :)

  • My Favorite part 5:45

  • One of my favourite Led Zeppelin songs, it's so awesome.

  • Mi head started to bounce with no reason at 0:01

  • they call him the hunter -- Oh yeah, baby!

  • Eight and a half minutes of being driven up and down and ripped to shreds and smacked in the face by Jimmy's belting riffs and being pounded half to death by Bonzos mammoth drum assault and having Plants screaming power vocals torn and shredded into my brain!! It's an assault on the senses that only raw Zeppelin could deliver.I feel like I've gone ten rounds with Mike Tyson after hearing this.....Dynamite just dynamite.

  • @jjacer1 YOU NAILED IT BRAH !

  • @jjacer1 Holy shit you deserve a medal!

  • @jjacer1 Beautiful Baby Beautiful!!!

  • @jjacer1

    trippinnnn lool

  • @jjacer1 ...what about John Paul Jones???

  • @coppercat94 exactly...without JPJ, this song doesn't exist.

  • @coppercat94 Very true,JPJ just keeps that cool bassline driving along,he really keeps the whole thing from exploding into a million pieces as he does with most other zeppelin tracks. When all the others are going berserk and really lettin loose JPJ is the cool head keeping it together-he is the solid rock it's all built on.

  • @jjacer1 Dude, you forgot a member! Three quarters does not make a whole!

  • Comment removed

  • @jjacer1 You can't forget Jones's mending bass lines that hold it all together.

  • @pageplant7t7 Yeah man check my reply to coppercat94 below.

  • @jjacer1 what about JPJ ? :c

  • @jjacer1 HOW COULD YOU FORGET ABOUT THE EPIC BASS LINE?!

  • @GearsofWumbology yeah man check my reply to coppercat94

  • @jjacer1 How Many More Times do I have to say I love JPJ's bass...he's the cool dude who holds it all together while the storm is erupting all around him! JPJ's bassline is the rock that Zeppelin is built on!!

  • i came

  • Hi girls, who do you wanna be.

  • Gosh, its been so long since I listened to this...use to have this album when it was brand new and I was 22 years old...am now 65, but still LOVE this! Classic rock never gets old, but some people do...the music lives on.

  • This band was like winning the lottery. The odds that these 4 musicians could get together to produce this kind of complete sound that we're listening to here has to be one in a billion.

  • led zeppelin > the beatles

  • @crunkaholic81 all rock music > modern music

  • This song is the BOMB! Unstoppable

  • It's too bad that most of the band was into the occult. I wonder if they still are. I'm a Christian & I love Led Zeppelin.

  • @shasta1962 The only ones that were into the occult were Page and possibly Jones...Plant and Bonham had nothing to do with it. Jones may not even have been into it. But yes Page was. I am a Christian also

  • @shasta1962

Just Jimmy, and no. He doesn't do nearly the amount of drugs as he used to, and has had a decade or two to grow out of it.

I'm not Christian, and I love Led Zeppelin

  • it impossible to jam this too jam this track too loud cuz my pc is at max volume and i need it louder

ROCK AND FUCKIN ROLL FOREVER PEACE

  • that... fucking... RIFF

  • i think farts should be on the list of all time best

  • Jimmy's band is the best. I hate how every classic rock song on youtube has idiots talking about how much they hate certain pop artists. Please stop, you're so fucking annoying. Just enjoy the music. Enjoy it loud, the louder the better on this song. It's probably my current favorite on Led Zep 1.

  • its music like this that made me pick up a guitar

  • @Arthurox - It's music like ABBA's that made me put mine down.

  • 6:54 - Fucking incredible. Whenever I see videos of 'top 10 rock screams' I rarely see this. One of the greatest ever IMO.

  • I'm drunk....I sure loves whisky. Love Zep and have for all my 38 years...well, 25 I guess...around 13 when I started to know of a band called Led Zep....lol

  • Damn, WHY WAS I BORN IN 1992?! Today we got a fucking gay named Justin Bieber and hes getting famous just becouse many hates him and teenage girls who love him.. It was so much better before when Led Zeppelin was on the road, they got famous becouse millions of people loved them, and so shall it be nowadays too, but... this generation.....I don't wanna live on this planet anymore.

  • @pROTPANDA Don't worry PANDA, the 60's and 70's also had their Bieber equivalents (and even worse). But especially the 60's were a mind boggling experience, that's for sure. Thank God I was a teenager back then. Keep strong my friend, carpe diem.

    Bowtieman572

  • @bowtieman572 I guess you can't avoid Bieber ;-) But you should always look at the bright side of the life. take care mate.

  • @pROTPANDA

Stop bringing the name Justin Bieber on Led Zeppelin videos and put the name Led Zeppelin on Justin Bieber videos

  • @pROTPANDA Dude there is still some good music around, you just gotta look for it.

  • @pROTPANDA pick up a friggin' guitar, bas or whatever and do something about it

  • The so called music "experts" are just the assholes in charge.

Remember when Jethro Tull got the Grammy for best

hard rock/metal band! Jethro Tull is (classic) rock music.

And Heart and Judas Priest are STILL not in the Rock n Roll hall of

(SHAME)...so fuck em' all. The experts in charge SUCK STUPID.

  • @MrBlueSkyMrNight heart and judas priest lmao

  • @stewardo fuck rolling stone the've never been good anyway i fuckin hate critics

  • 2 out of 5 in favor of what other albums out at that time? The Beatles? The Who? Stones? Doors (OK..they kicked ass)...Hendrix (ok he kicked ass too)...who?

  • @SD1Chargers all those bands are fucking awesome. but led zeppelin are the greatest ever.

  • @vedderfan94 LOL. No, they are not. The Beatles are, ask anyone. Led Zeppelin in the top 5, though...

  • @jgg87 lmao. its called an opinion buddy. you're going to get nowhere in life if you go around taking what you think as fact.

  • This is one of my favorite Led Zep songs.

  • Now that is funny!!

  • DUN DUN DA DA DA DUN DUN DA DA DA

  • Feels jazzy.

  • ZEP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • to think they were blasted by music critics back in the day. A phenomenal band, the best in their genre. Jimmy Page a guitar genius, Bonham, rocks pre-eminent drummer, JPJ among the finest baseman ever and a talented keyboardist and finally the unparalleled rock singer (at the time) in Plant

  • My 1st zep concert was 1969 in Dallas. I double dated with my older brother. I was such a geek, I wore a plaid sut. We had to step over hookas to get to our seats. Flew to Seattle for my 57th birthday and saw Guns N Roses. There was no aroma. Times do change.

  • Everything that came from Zepp is gold.

  • invite the kid in for some Lysol

  • Listening to this and looking at the album cover makes me smell the incense. I mean I can REALLY smell it. weird.

  • Hey stewardo good call! It only proves the old adage, Those who can not do teach, I guess those who have zero musical ability become music critics. Rolling Stone Magazine has indeed made quite a few momentous blunders in the past. And this is one for sure, 2 out of 5 (?). It's a shame when R&R and/or Blues critics start to believe their own hype and become snobbish elitists. Jazz has for quite some time cornered the market on music genre snobbery.

The music lives on, the critics are worm fodder.

  • The violin bow segment gives me chills every time I hear it. The sound Jimmy gets out of that is unreal. I really wish I could find music today I enjoy more than this band but I just haven't.

  • Reminds me of Pink Floyds "money" for some reason Haha.

  • I'm happy that the cover picture was taken in New Jersey, so I have something to do with Led Zeppelin.

  • Best group ever!

Check the live version (royal albert hall) of this song. waaaaaaaaaw

  • so sssssssssexy :D

  • great song!!!

  • @nowinterweather It must be a wah pedal then.

  • @frankktillery82 Lol a bit late there... But that's definitely what it is.

  • @nowinterweather Hey, I didn't see your comment until later. lol

  • @frankktillery82 Lol it's cool... But now that I've actually analyzed this song, it's Page playing an e minor half-bar at the 12th fret. The way he gets that sharp tone is with the wah (he presses it down and turns it off as soon as he cuts off the chord). JPJ is playing an e minor or e 5 voicing on his hammond, too.

  • @nowinterweather Fantastic stuff!

  • But i like the Beatles.

  • @edf81 me too!, but i dont think they were geniuses.

  • Beatles Suck i dont care what any of you say ZEP is killin!!!

  • Hey... remember when Rolling Stone Magazine gave this album a 2/5 when it was first released? God, I hate that magazine.

  • @stewardo I hate them too This is my favourite album of all time 2/5 thats just crazy to me.

  • @stewardo - Led Zeppelin's music outlived their critics.

    HA HA - Fuck em'!

  • @stewardo : they are so arrogant as well. They make you feel like a loser if they don't like what you do. They take themselves way too seriously.

  • @MrAdvance2go yea but they made at least 1 good descision... guess whos number 1 guitarist according to them? JIMI HENDRIX now thats somrthin we can all agree on man

  • @MemphisMurk100 like they had any other choice lol

  • @stewardo They have good info, but you can't take their word for things.

  • @stewardo 2 out of 5???wow that magazine is totally fucked ouf of its head..

  • @stewardo

Rolling Stone Magazine is pretty good at making horrible lists.

  • @heydoods123454321 Yea like making a bob Dylan song #1 on the planet.

  • @stewardo Rolling Stone Magazine is the youth agitprop of the Democratic Party, and has been since the Vietnam War, but it got worse in the 1980s.

  • @stewardo You only hate that magazine because they didn't place Led Zeppelin at the top of their list of greatest artists. Very impartial person you are.

  • impartial pretty much means fair. so given the way rolling stone treated zeppelin over the years, i'd say u are right. stewardo is being fair.

  • @jgg87 I could get into a discussion about how much I hate them, I could even write a thesis on it and how it's destroyed music in North America and the effect its had on our youth. but it's a youtube video. fuck off

  • Hammer of the Gods !

  • @ajchimek Yes, this one of Zep's best--the trademark blues riff in E really make it remarkable. I re-discovered it when I saw Mpls. based rockers "Slave Raider" featured a whole Led Zep medley/tribute in Moorhead, MN 1987!

  • FRIGGIN SHIVERS !!!!!! EVERY TIME I HEAR THIS CLASSIC!!!!!! THE BEST!!!!! GET THE LED OUT!!!!

  • Absolute killer riff.

  • Comment removed

  • Probably one of the best Led Zep songs, and that's saying a hell of a lot!

  • My fave Led Zep album. I have listened to this in the past stoned, sober, while driving, while in the shower, while just sitting on the patio, and hummed it in my head at work and NEVER get tired of it. Hey Don and Pete, can you remember listening to this in the winter of 1989 in Don's "jamming room" while everyone else was at the high school hockey game and we were drinking and enjoying this?....good times!

  • It's not that guitar that's making me rape the replay button... it's the riff itself that JPJ starts...

  • Damn!! This is probably my favorite Led song!! *melts*

  • l;kjsadgoiuwetyou69 sorry just wiping off jizz.....Literally!

  • Comment removed

  • FUCK YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAH HOW MANY MORE TIME !!!

  • @ScienceFecality If it could, I wish Bonham would be awakened :(

  • The first 30 seconds or so of this song always reminded me of the music in the old Spiderman (1967) cartoon. I loved that music as a kid and I have loved Led Zeppelin since 1984.

  • Bonham you fucking animal.

  • Violin bow solo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • My science teacher played Kashmir in class once. I couldn't help it, but I got up and danced on the table, for the full 8 and a half minutes of the song. It was awesome.

  • Music at its best!

  • Growing up at the end of the 60s into the 70s was fuckin' wild, I'm not gonna lie!!!...

I don't think I even own any music produced in this decade.

Wouldn't trade those times or the music for anything...

  • Drums on this song are definitive... a really good song...!

  • Perhaps their most under-rated song?

  • what a fucking song!
