The original song was called How Many More Years by a blues artist called Howlin' Wolfe. It was the done thing back in the day, even The Stones did it. They called it 'borrowing' the song and rerecording it with ur own sound. They did a fab job, what a track, what a band. Loved 'em since I was 16 which was 20 years ago! But their music is timeless. Hats off to Bonham and JPJ on this particular track.

The way he gets that sharp tone is with the wah (he presses it down and turns it off as soon as he cuts off the chord). JPJ is playing an e minor or e 5 voicing on his hammond, too.
