  • That is a GSD being both curious and friendly toward a baby rabbit, wild or not. Rabbits are jumpy like that, so are domesticated pets like CATS. They can be just as jumpy when near dogs, or whenever one sticks its big nose in their face. Stop overreacting, people. It's not eating the rabbit, is it? or wildly chasing as if it's prey. C'mon.

  • I realy take care of animals , agrre, may the bunny is very little and bay but....the dog don't hurt him juste stay near him, and the bunny looks just in alert, but not scared or too scared, just jumping around...i think so...

  • I don't doubt that the dog meant no harm, but the rabbit is pretty obviously terrified. What's a wild animal doing inside someone's house anyway?

  • @CSDstravels you do know that rabbits can be kept as pets too you know what about dogs before they werent tamed by man so they seemed like wild dogs but later on man finally tamed dogs so now there no longer wild as they were prefferred to as before

  • @chipchapeatme Umm, yeah, domestic rabbits are routinely kept as pets. That there is a wild rabbit. Gray wolves and domestic dogs belong to the same species, but I wouldn't take an orphaned wolf pup into my home. There are wildlife rescues for these situations.

  • @chipchapeatme re right i thought you were gonna start cursing swearing in my face or something i really aprrieacte that you didnt get agressive at me

  • @chipchapeatme ????? why am i talking to my self youtube i crap!

  • chomp

  • omg tht bunny is so cute and so small

  • :\ granted, if its a wild bunny, its prolly scared out of its mind, and having something of a panic attack. but the Magnus seems nice- just curious apparently. and as long as the bunny didnt get hurt, all is good. just remember- its wild, not a pet :(

  • holy, look at the size difference from its size and the dog's paw hahahah

  • Bunny: freeze.....run.....freeze...run.....freaking out.....freeze.....run

German shepard: sniff sniff sniff....would you hold still?......sniff sniff...don't got under there!.....sniff sniff.......jeeeeezzzzzz would you stop?

  • that rabbit wouldn't have made it a second around my gsd. There is one thing he loves to do and that is shake the life out of any rabbit he can get ahold of.

  • all you people are stupid. I could see it being mean if the dog freaking ate the bunny, but otherwise I see nothing wrong with this. That dog's not doing anything and the bunny is just doing what bunnies do... running. That's like saying I'm a terrible person every time a squirrel runs up a tree when I walk by.

  • Do what i usually do with broccoli; Play with your dinner.

  • My german shepherd found a baby bunny.

He brought it to me and the poor thing was shaking. =(

  • thats mean

  • Awwww sooo cute!!!!!

  • I brought my bunny around my GSD, and my GSD just looked at it. My Bunny died of a heart attack.

  • ;D bunnies can die of a heart attack if they're stressed too much.

  • aw cute

  • very curious gsd; I think my GSD wouldn't be as gentle...he's more clumsy probably step on the little guy.

  • Only a GSD

  • The baby bunny looks like he/she is running for his or her life! :P

  • we used to find dead bunnies all over from our GSD..i miss that damn dog.

  • I know its not a dog and bird but i must say it can be easy for small animals and big dogs to get along. I have two dogs, a German shepherd chocolate lab (German Chocolate XD) mix and a spazzy terrier dog aaaand a parakeet, the bird prefers its cage so we keep the cage door open and when hes advneturouse he goes exploring the hosue and the dogs know to stay away from him :)

  • Baby Bunnny: "Damn dude! Your nose is cold! Get away from me!"

  • the shepards like is like oh my god your so cute!! and the bunny is like fuck of bich!!!!

  • @SantinoFuentes and @FerretJohn we EXCLUSIVELY feed our dog chicken (he's on the BARF diet) and he has never killed another animal even though we have birds, turtles, and a bunny outside - they're all friends :)

  • rabbits are scared 98% of the time anyway

  • why is it not eating it? my dogs eat rabbits all the time.

  • @SantinoFuentes Probably because the dog's been raised exlusively on store-bought food. If it doesn't come out of a bag or can it ain't edible.

  • This rabbit is obviously very scared. Keep him away from the dog - small animals like rabbits can easily die from shock.

  • that bunny doesnt like the dog, have you seen it trying to escape the dog wont hurt it but to a baby bunny everything and anyone will hurt it

  • ok so we can bring it inside where it wont get hurt, or leave it outside where its separated from its momma possibly. which one was a better idea? why dont you like super duper animal protective people chill out.i guess all of you wouldve just left it outside instead? and way worse things than this happen in nature naturally. i think this is amazing.

  • That is absolutely not funny or cute at all. The bunny is dead scared.

  • We had an Alaskan Husky and rabbits, and I was amazed at how gentle big dogs can be with small animals. He never pawed at it or anything, just got down in front of it and stuck his nose in its face for the most part. It was the cats who tried to get the rabbits to play and failed.

  • That is awesome. If the bunny ever gets threatened by other animals, he has the best backup you can have!!!

  • That dog was just having an "Of Mice and Men" moment... I'll name him George and I love'em and ug em an

  • I'm just glad this German Shepherd is not eating this baby bunny. :D Once I heard from my Bff, Matthew... that a German Shepherd "ate a baby" kitten, that belonged to it's mama, and the mama-cat belonged to my Bff''s mother.

  • best dogs ever

  • What a sweet dog! My shep would have played with it to death

  • so did he eat him? cuz im about to get a german shepherd puppy and i already have a bunny a lot bigger than that...so i wann know if its possible to have them get along w/o hurting eachother.

  • Yeah, it is possible for a dog and rabbit to get along. They should be fine so long as you supervise them when they're together. It's also good the rabbit is there first, because puppy will learn to respect it. Be very careful though, dogs are still predators (even gentle dogs) and sometimes they play to rough, or get carried away. Make sure you watch them whenever they're together.

  • @OshaBriefs yea german shepherds will be okay with rabbits as i have 3 rabbits and a german shepherd. but my dutch rabbit and mini flemish both HATE beagles. while my giant flemish doesnt mind him. And when i dog sit my aunts maltese all 3 of them hate her and seek protection with the shepherd as there scared shitless. dogs that are a bit bigger then rabbits will not get along. big big dogs will it seems like.

  • did u keep the cute lil thing

  • well when baby bunnys like that are scared they squeel so loud its annoying. so its not scared it just wants to get away before it gets eaten.

  • pff are they crazy, maybe its a fun for you or the dog but not for the bunny

  • I think all dogs are intelligant if trained and shown lots of LOVE! <3 XD I have a doggie he might not be as smart as other dogs but i still love him. it shouldn't matter about inteligance all they need to know are the basics like sit, down, stay to behave well in human society

  • gee thanks for the horsedouvre

  • Damn thats a small bunny

  • German Shepherds are not only beautiful: they are also the most dogs intelligent dogs in the world.

  • #3 most intelligent

  • Wrong...Ovbviously,the Poodle is the most intelligent dog of the world, followed by the Cattle dog and the Border Collie.

  • I think it's:

    1) Border Collie

    2) Poodle

    3) German Shepherd

  • Magnus? Like Ultra-Magnus the old school transformer?

  • the bunny looked like it was having a panic attack. bunny: EEEK! AAHHH! WHAT IS THAT THING?

  • The dog: "Hmmm....smells familiar. Heeyyy, wait a minute- ain't I supposed to chase these things?"

  • aaaaw the bunny is soo cute!!!!

  • hahahhaha baby bunnies. i tried to save one once. it was being attacked by a fox and i pulled up in my old truck, put spot lights on it and the fox ran away. i picked up the bunny and brought it in my car where i was going to sow it up but it climbed behind my speedometer... i pulled it down and let it go... so be careful baby bunnies go where ever they want

  • lol that bunny would've been in my shepherds stomach.

  • wow im surprised the bunny didnt die of a heart attack. they scare to death really easy =/

  • haha magnus,great name :) n great dog

  • my gsd would of ate it he eats anything

  • My German Shepard also found a nest of bunnies. She killed them all and hid them in the laundry room.

  • lol hahahahaha

  • Wow I would of beat my dog if he did that but he isn't a German he's a Boston.

  • lol. so adorable. gsd's are so beautiful

  • the bunny dun seem afraid, more of like exploring the house.

if it was terrified, it wud haf bolted long ago instead of stopping intermittently ard the GSD.

  • i have a pet rabbit & a shep.puppy...all my pup wants to do is get at it to eat it...this is sweet

  • i said RABBIT MORON not cat or pussy grow up NeoQuello you dumb spic

  • AWW it looks just like the baby bunnies I found some years ago. I was putting weed killer and new pine straw down in the garden when they ran from the nest. Since I had inconveniently destroyed their home I couldn't put them back so I brought them home and we (me and my shepherd) nursed them.

  • Poor rabbit.... it feared if a big dog will bite.

Lucky! German Shepherd Dog is working at farm.

If I have Jack Russell Terrier. Serious! it can bite it.

  • Wow, moron. Why didn't you put it back outside?

  • You know that rabbits are put under stress very easily right? The dog may be playing but that poor rabbit... :(

  • lol if that was in my house my dog wud own it haha chases anything that moves

  • You brought a wild rabbit into your house so your dog could play with it??

  • It's so cute! The bunny is absolutely adorable I love it! Now I want to have one for myself too. And the GSD is so gentle. What great pets you have!

  • aww the bunny is the size of the dog's paw! lol

  • lol the bunnies like DOGZILLLLLA!!!!!!!

and the german sheperd is just like ......huh?

  • The German shepard knows it could own it straight away, so it would rather examine it, :) G sheps are really curious i bought a turtle with a G shep, and the shep watched it for 2 hours straight :):) no biting or anything :)

  • 1 bite = goodbye

the rabbit looks like a mouse its so tiny.

  • I don't think the bunny thinks it's playing...more like it thinks its going to die! This is cruel to the baby bunny...I know the Shep would not hurt it, but the bunny does not know that!

  • @slocowgirl, i totally agree with you! That dog is hugeeeeeeeeee!" The little bunny's prpbably like: "AUGHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

  • @slocowgirl omg...get over it. Animals can feel each other senses so the fucking bunny would have ran away if it thought it was in danger. Do some research tool bag.

  • @slocowgirl wat are u a liberalist?

  • @slocowgirl WOOOOOOOOOW shut up! the bunny doesnt know alot of things, by your logic, it shouldnt even be a pet to anyone ever. youre stupid, please kill yourself!

  • @slocowgirl Just like a kitten wouldn't, but over time, it would learn that the other animal was not a threat. It's not cruel, it's a controlled introduction of the animals. :V

  • *laughs* aww that bunny is soo tiny!!

  • That german sheaperds foot is bigger than that rabits whole body haha

  • lol the bunny is like"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"

  • hahahahaha the bunnys like wtf!!!!

  • poor bunny is scared

  • that is too strange. hahah O.o

My black lab would have ripped that rabbitt in two haha

  • Must be a German Shepard thing. My white German Shepard from when I was a child always caught the baby bunnies running around our yard (About that size) and tried to bring them home for keeps, but we made him let them go. XD

  • i love the german sheparard so much but i better love the white german shepard and the huskey

  • It's not about the dog being dangerous to the rabbit, it's about the EXTREME high stress levels in Eastern Cottontails (that's the kind of rabbit in this video). Stress can KILL a wild rabbit - particularly when they are so young. This was extremely irresponsible and cruel.

  • guys serious question, I mean I know the dog is massive compared to the rabbit but it must know the dog means no harm otherwise the GS would have eaten it

  • That wasn't playing, the rabbit was terrified.

Magnus obviously means it no harm but he can't communicate that to a wild rabbit. There's a world of difference between this and the videos of domestic pet rabbits playing with dogs they live with.

  • i agree, animals aren't toys.

  • omg that baby bunny is SOOOO CUTE!!!

  • wow strong description

  • cute cute cute!! if the german shephderd was not gental he would have eaten the baby in one gulp!!

  • That's the smallest little rabbit I've ever seen! It's like the size of the dog's paw :D So cute!

He looks freaked out to be licked by such a big dog

  • lol He was sniffing the rabbits butt.

    Cute GSD

  • german shepherds are the most gentle dogs in the world

  • Aww, lol.

The bunny is like "OMG IT'S TRYING TO EAT ME!"

  • ...sorry i'm wrong xD Brano is another shepherd

  • That bunny is so beautiful and small!

And Brano is a very good boy...

  • I have german shepherd that lives with my rabbit (its fully grown now though) and they sleep together, and the rabbit always goes up to my dog and sits right next to it, its so cute!

  • I HAVE A SHEPHERD 2 I HVE 2

  • i saved a baby bunny but the cat already broke its leg so i kept it and the mom came back for it a few days later so i gave it back!!!it was about that small!!!the cat punctured its skin so i thought that it would die for sure but it didnt so i named him miracle!!!

  • if the dog was dangerous i'm sure that thay wouldn't have put them together.

  • Haha, I don't know what my GSD whould have done.

    Probably woof at it.

  • my dog is small -Bichon Frise- and wud either be scared of the rabbit or try to hump it in various ways O_o

  • lol how did u manage to catch the bunny! it's soooooooo cute btw! careful w/the GS tho, one step and the bunnie will be in big trouble

  • thats a SMALL bunny!!

  • aww i have a rabbit and my grandma has a german shepard and wen the dog was staying at my house i put the rabbit on the floor and all the dog did was lick the rabbit lolz XxXX

  • my dog would have slurped that down in 2 secconds... loldf

  • Omg, that bunny is so tiny! I wouldn't want it inside my house, I'd squish it T_T

  • At least we know what the dog had for lunch.

  • a wild bunny? wow

  • So cute!

  • the previous is a reply to 0powerhouse

I don't konw why my comments don't come in to the right place at all!

  • my gsd would of squeezed it like the toys i give her just to see if it makes noise

  • Wow the dog is a giant to the bunny

  • cute

  • my german shephard mix would have eaten that thing in two seconds...

  • MINE IS A MIX TOO! shes not as obediant and shes an outside dog too maybe thats why...she killed a rat outside and frogs so i doubt shed be able to not eat that rabbit

  • hahahaha! so true.

  • my other dog is a mutt too but not a german...shes like i think labrador pittbull mix..im not sure though but SHE IS A MONSTER!

she has killed an opposum [sp?], frogs, a cat, rats...and whever we go outside and see that she got something she picks it up by the neck and starts shaking it violently and we're like OMG lolz she wants us to be proud and we would be...if we lived in a rural area!! not in the city lolz

  • So good video and so sweet rubbit

  • wow how did you get your german shepherd to do that mine would of ate that thing by now. I wish mine was like that

  • Train it.

  • I have german shepherd, he wouldn't do that at all. Train it.

  • i wouln't trust my German Shepherd...she tries to play?eat my rabbit...lolj

  • wow my german shepherd would of swallowed the whole thing by now

  • it´s luch time ....:)

  • sorry - here again the missing (n)

  • lol

  • ok thanks man

  • hey guys iam getting a german shepard soon and i was wonderig if you could give me a couple of tips on traning them is a boy or girl easier to train or is there no differnce but iam 13 and i really want my dog to be perfcet thanks for listening

  • girls a generally better around younger people ive had both guy and girl g/shepherds and the boys tend to be a bit more territorial but remember like people NO DOG IS PERFECT their each individuals who just want love from their owner. ppl think the breed is dangerous but its not they're very easy to train at a young age respond well to positive re-enforcement but remember they are only a bit wary of others out of loyalty to you but dont worry too much.

  • girl. for sure. makes a better watchdog. it's a super easy breed to train too. very handy when it comes to housebreaking, thank goodness. your vet can teach you some simple tricks to establish yourself as dominant (a must for larger, stronger dogs).

  • hey guys iam getting a german shepard soon and i was wonderig if you could give me a couple of tips on traning them is a boy or girl easier to train or is there no differnce but iam 13 and i really want my dog to be perfcet thanks for listening

  • Hey, no jumpy jumpy now. Hold still, dinner.

  • your dogs good..my german shepherd killed 10 bunnys and one she caught and burried

  • Do you actually own that rabbit?

  • the bunnies parents must be looking for it!

  • hmm looks as if sniffing its ass lol

  • For anyone who says GSD's are dangerous ... not inherent of this gorgeous breed!

  • German Shepherds are only has nice or as mean as you raise them.

  • I know, like any dog, really. I've had 7 and they were babied and never so much as growled at anyone in anger, but heaven help the fool who'd have threatened us.

  • Rabbits are constantly building nests around my house and they have babies. The babies are cute, but my shepherd loves them in a different way (if you know what I mean).

  • that is a small rabbit, im surprised that the dog didnt step on it or anything like that.
