I think they should have had base scores for 1st 2nd 3rd and last place for each round and then add those scores for ranking instead of cumulative coins for ranking. Seems more fair to me.

@Theraiser2000 Oh. Well two people would be highly unlikely to get the same number of coins due to the nature of the game; and in four players, its even more unlikely. You can see that the number of coins at the end of their rounds are scattered and. Also the point scale is variable which fixes the problem for tiebreaking. I've seen Iron Gamers taht give 10 points for 1st, 6 points for 2nd, 3 points for 3rd, and 1 point for last and others that go 4pts-1st, 3pts-2nd, 2pts-3rd, ...

@TheBzlai you would be incorrect on your last statement. it has always been 9,6,3,1. it has only been otherwise where they count up something (such as coins or kills) instead.

@Theraiser2000 I see that as a more fair scoring than total coins. As in one round you can pick a stage that has 300 total coins where another stage would only have 100 or so. Strategic picking of stages can eliminate all skill from determining the winner.

Ex: P1 Has 275 coins, P2 has 150 coins If the next map chosen only has 100 coins in the whole level, even if P2 got EVERY SINGLE COIN in the level, P1 would still win. Having base scores would elimite that problem

@TheBzlai what do you mean no skill? how does it not take skill to get that many coins in that stage? they should have just as much of a chance to get 275 coins as each other, depending on skill. the COMEBACK ratio might not be as good, but it can just as well go the other way around. it depends on skill the whole way through.
