It takes two to tango, my friend. While some of their decisions have been mind boggingly strange, for most of the time they reacted to some manner of threat (imagined or otherwise). Certainly the United States have done immensely stupid things, and they have no business playing world police. However, now that they have a president with a decent head on his shoulders, I'm confident that we'll see a change for the better. At least I hope so.

Thanks for keeping Neda's memory alive. And for keeping the revolution alive at the same time. Neda didn't realize it at the time, but she is doing more for the revolution in dying than in living. The Iranian government was not thinking when they killed her. And imagine.... trying to blame her death on someone else or another government! They still miscalculate the intelligence and will of the people.

And it wasn't just 40 years ago that the American government was beating protesters to death, breaking their arms and spraying them with fire hoses (Which is fatal, because the pressure from the water can penetrate the skin and send air pockets through your blood at to your heart) and even today we have police killing "criminals" everyday for drug crimes, running away, ect.
