They're not as good as they should be. It's the year 2009, for god's sake. Look at the graphics of games like Far Cry 2 or Fallout 3. In Madden, the player models suck (hell, 2k5 player models look more like real people, as far as the body proportions). The sideline players stand like half a yard from the field, the stadiums like Soldier Field are inaccurate, the way the QBs drop back looks ridiculous, the grass looks too dirty and blotchy in the new versions. The new snow IS tight, though.
