so if this is a demo version for the first album, then why is everybody assuming the guitar work is Hillel and not Jack Sherman(who played on the first album)....?

damnn soo funky...first album would've been a lot better if rhcp hadn't signed with EMI though. their early sound was punk-funk but EMI just totally killed the punk aspect with their corporateness

by far one of the best songs ever written.

its hard to have as much energy as the chili peppers did from the "red hot chili peppers" album to blood sugar.

john frusciante is by far my favorite guitarist, but the energy in the band was so much stronger when hillel was with them.
