Some people say you can see the City Of Montreal from up there, althought I was there and saw nothing but Mountains and more Land, althought you'd probably need Binoculars, and it'd have to be a extremely Clear Day. It's pretty amazing.
Too bad I didn't any breaks in the clouds after hiking up to the summit. At Pinkham Notch, you could see similar batches of clouds flying over the summit. But, a few hours later, the summit was consistently covered in a very fast moving fog. Still had a very fun trip.
its amazing how quick the weather changes up there. cant wait to make my trip up there at the end of july, bringing a few friends of mine along too. hopefully it will be nice weather.
don't worry it will or will it weather changes very quik I was up there hiking and it was foggy and 50 mile and hour winds at one pioint than it was sunny and 25-30 mil and hor winds. I am a local.
