  • we typically do this when we at the end of flying a mandatory deer survey with a depravation permit. the heli is about 500 per hr and we fly for pigs about 2 hrs shoot 12-20 and bullets we normally use buck shot for like 1 dollar per shell and it usually takes 1 shot rarely 2 with a shot gun. but some people like ars for fun and they take more shells as its harder to hit them.

  • Can I come work for you guys? I'll do this year round for no more than 3 square meals, and a bed.

  • 5:59 = When Pigs Fly!!!! LMAO

  • Fair 'nuff. I ask because I was speaking with a guy from TPW who said that when you cull a coyote from his marked territory you bring in more that will fight to gain that territory. He said this in front of a landowner (Garza and Borden counties) who echoed that sentiment. I fully understand that this is a very unusual situation considering the extreme drought conditions but I had never considered that angle.

  • damn this song sucks.

  • Because we have hundreds of them, and they are really hard on our deer populations, and with this drought Texas is having it is important to have every fawn live that you can... besides that is what the buzzards are for :)

  • Why cull the coyotes? Unless they are posing a predation problem to livestock, they should be left to clean up the hog carcasses.

  • @dancininanson I've hunted coyotes in the hill country of Texas from the ground and there is no shortage of em. They like to go after pets and animals that won't fight back. Cats, puppies, and goats rank high on the coyote menu. I saw a pack of thirty dogs(two looked like wolves). We got the count from a photograph taken by another hunter. We dropped 14 of em before they got out of range.

  • @dancininanson coyotes eat fawns up here in illinois. they probably do the same in texas seeing that the deer down there are much smaller ;)

  • Thanks, We had a really hard time that day finding animals, they were not flushing like usual. The pilot is flying J helicopters google them they have a pretty sick video he is awesome. At one time he was flying with his knees and loading the fixing issues with the guys gun in the back seat while still following that coyote. Best coyote we have ever used

  • @hunteclipse

How much fuel do you spend? Is it economically viable? with viable I mean if the average cost per pig (fuel+helicopter renting or maintenance expenses+bullets) is low.

  • Nice video.....wish you showed more kills. That pilot has some skills.
