I just wish that they'd take off the makeup if there's gonna be replacement members. But Gene, Paul, Eric, and Ace is a band I'd pay to see any day.

Yes, KISS in their prime. You can tell. Tempo is WAY higher than it is now. Just like the album. But one thing is...they sound ALMOST the same! Damn, 30 years later and they still sound great....top 5 bands ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Guys... I love KISS, but unfortunately we see right here in this video why Ace is no longer in KISS... He completely missed his solo! Completely! And this song was just one year old then... I play my Les Pauls in Ace's honor, and I love the guy! Also, Anomaly rocks! But he just doesn't go with KISS anymore, and vice-versa! The same goes for Peter.

I was at the 12/14 show. They also played either the day before or after and I was at that one too. "Piper" featuring Billy Squire opened both shows.But those were both on the Love Gun tour. I think this vidoe is from the Rock N Roll Over tour which was Feb '77, which I was also at. Sammy Hagar opened that one.

The MSG shows were on Dec. 14, 15, and 16. This was the Alive II tour which was preceeded by the Love Gun tour (summer of '77) and the Rock and Roll Over (late 76' into early '77). I was at the 12/15/77 show at MSG - Piper opened, nobody was interested in them.

I was 14 around this time, too. Do you remember the date of this concert? It could have been Rock and Roll Over, Love Gun, or the Alive II tour. I saw KISS for the first time in June 1979 in Columbia, SC, by the way.

Rock & Roll Over was released in late 1976. Love Gun in the summer of 1977. Alive II in November/December 1977. I have seen the Sept. 1977 concert from Houston on VH1 Classic several times.
