I like Green Day more then NOFX, but you can't say "NOFX is better" or "Green Day is better" they're both considered Punk, but they're both different sound wise.

Like someone mentioned below, Green Day's songs are more slower, but still get the message out. NOFX is more faster an angrier, but they still get the message out.

It's just like compairing Coke to Pepsi. Sure they're both popular and they're both pop, but lots perfer one more then the other.
