What was the problem with Superman Returns? it was so much better than Superman 3 and 4, it was a lot more respectful of the work that Richard Donner and company created....
.... oh and before its theatrical run ended, SR made 291 million, making it one of the most successful Superman movies ever created!

I just hope WB can rescue Superman with a reboot just like how they rescued Batman with a reboot in "Batman Begins." If anything, Singer did more harm to the character of Superman than anything in the past 20 years. And that's really saying something.

Keep looking, because it's not going to come. WB, if they have any respect for Superman, should just reboot the franchise. There is no need to continue Singer's rehashed trash over the course of two more sequels.
