@stalkingalizee Spot on of it being Swedish and I accept that however the stealth technology that provides RCS reduction is Turkish (delays for the Swedish Visby class was caused by the Turkish Golcuk shipyard). My mix up is that Turkey has offered France the MRTP 70 (multi role tactical platform) to France (a slightly more advanced version then the Visby). France should accept this ship I believe since it is designed to be customized for a vast number of roles!

France makes Gowind corvettes and OPVs. We are fully independent in ship design, as well as most others. We also make the missiles to arm it. We do not need to team up with anyone to build a ship... unlike Turkey.

Turkey did not design Visby's stealth either. Turkey has NOTHING to do with the design. The company that designed it is a German subsidiary... ThyssenKrupp Marine

Having something on paper is quite different then having "been around for 10 years". This is a really dumb comment on your part. In fact it is a paradox as R&D dictates the ship will be on paper until it is actually constructed as a whole but you claim it has been around for 10 years when in actuality the first ship of the class was constructed only two years ago

@stalkingalizee Listen moron having problems with the ship means that the navy cannot use it therefore it is not in naval hands & furthermore MRTP70 exists, it is under construction at 20-30 percent complete at Yolca Onuk Shipyard (around 20 -40 warships are constructed in Turkey at any given time for the past 5 years in a row). If you can truly produce your own versions of such weapons & naval aircraft then why dont you? In 10 years Turkey went from a ex-hand me down NATO consumer to a country that develops it's own ships & exports them to overseas countries (orders are in place for MRTP 33/40/70 etc.) and it's armaments industry is only some 30 years old.

Do you know that the EU failed to make the Eurofighter a true stealth jet fighter (look up the archives!) and instead market's as a low cost 4.5 gen alternative to the F-35.
