No !!!!! he's not God, he's the Boss he is very passionate about his music and he's the best. I mean really he's and his band are in a class of their own and they rule that class
@NeilPhilp09 it is huh??? i did once kareoke (how ever u spell it) in seattle and after i was done alot of people said they never heard this song by him! krazy huh???
Thematically this song foreshadowed the themes of parts of Tunnel of Love. Bruce is a gret rocking performer but also underrated writer of relationship songs - pros and cons
If Bruce did this in May when I went to see him in Dublin, I would have cried my eyes out, love this song man, When I get buried I want someone to sing this at the funeral.. Funny wouldn't it... He's goin down (Thank God)
Bruce Springsteen undoubtedley the greatest Rock and Roll artist ever without a shadow of a doubt. Iv'e been to many concerts and not another rock and roll artist play's with any where near the same amount of passion as the boss. I have never met the man before but the way he connects with his audinece makes you feel as if you are a close freind. Truly remarkable.
Unbelievable isn't it. I've seen him 12 times and those are easily the best 12 concerts I've seen.
Pretty frightening that, just as you say, no one comes even close to the mans live performances. That means there won't be any magic, out-of-this-world, jaw-dropping, can't-have-enough concerts after he's gone/stops touring. And the world will be a little sadder for it.
The good news is that he seems to enjoy it so much that hopefully he'll keep at it for long time yet.
Hey sorry 4 the l8 reply. I totally agree the world will b a sadder place wen The Boss and The E Street Band are no longer bringing the house down with their wat can only b described as 'Special live performances'. However I seen them in manchester on the magic tour an they all played wit the same passion an energy as they have dun 4 the last 30 years. So hopefully they will continue entertaining us like no 1 else can 4 the next 10 - 15 years.
Yes, it is a -80 masterpice. Bruce is is the SRAIGHT ROCKER that EVERYBOY loves! Thans Bruce. Forget the 1990-1993 ans 2001-2003 CRAP! You are the Boss!
the video of this may be kinda ehhh...but i love to see how much fun bruce and the rest of the east street crew are having playing this song. the crowd loves it too...a very fun video!
Once I saw this Live, I was finally able to say that I had seen every favorite of mine Live. I never thought that I would see him do this (He said just before he started that he hadn't played it since 1986) I enjoyed this better than the first time I saw him do Rosalita. Thanks to those boys who made that "Fablous Homemade Sign"
I love Bruce Springsteen...such an amazing artist, the 80s was such a great era for American rock music, miss it with the fire of 999 suns ;-)
