Yes a very nice guy and appreciates the fans and never takes them for granted.

Met him in a cafe in london some years ago near the venue the band were playing that night, and he really wasn't well, asked if he could sit at my table and ordered dry toast to settle his stomach, he'd just played drums for Led Zeppelin in Dublin I think he said, and threw up while playing all over Zep's backline.

If you play the drums you know how impossibly difficult it is to wrap your brain around the symphony of sounds that leave that kit. Unbelievable to say the least.

Mark and dave barbe form ants reason why I play drums. Got electronic kit with earphones drives wife mad. Wish I could play like them!
