i wish most Mexican-American rappers could learn from this style of hip hop. Instead of that wack repetitive style they depend on so much nowadays. Only ones who ever held it down was Delinquent Habits and Cypress Hill. And maybe A Lighter Shade of Brown? Somebody help me with mexicans in the game...Drop some names. Slow Pain, i think he was mexican and from the Bay Area. i dunno thats how much they need 2 learn from dominicans, cubans, and puerto ricans...
Well there's a whole new generation of Mexicans growing up in NYC these days. So i'm sure they'll catch on to the Rican,Dominican ,Black flavor. In fact I already statred too see it when I was there last month.
thank God for that gametight cuz these mexicans out here in the West are wack as hell. Not all of them ofcourse, but you know, the majority don't know how to hold it down and keep it real. They only keep it real in their own eyes cuz they livin by the streets joining some street gang and emulating overrated biggie or tupac, n.w.a, snoop, dre, and even mexicans like lil rob and south park mexican. Where's the REAL emcees at homie? knaaamean.
Cypress set it off for Latinos on the West coast, and even tho ricans n blackas started hip hop, there was no shine till like Fat joe, Beatnuts, Tony Touch and Main one. shit just aint organized, good music is good music but or hip hop, for Cali hip hop as an East coast cat, i go with whatever sounds good from Game to Ice T to San Quinn, of course i love the classics
