@Wilkie1951 A double deck bus,£150,000 maximum. The tram fare will have to be the same as the bus fare,or more accurately bus fares will be hiked up to the same as the tram fare. Trams will break even when petrol gets to £14 @ litre,if it gets that expensive,no-one will bother driving around the city. Alot more would be like me,use the bike or walk it. Like him or not Alex Salmond got it right 1st time when he said "I warn you,it'll be Holyrood on wheels"
