  • Thanks for the insight.Never realized it before but I now honestly believe that I do harbor resentment. And it shows itself in the anger that is triggered over minute disagreeable things that happen me.In future I will be mindful it when the anger within erupts again .

  • Forgive and You shall be Forgiven...

  • Umm, well i can forgive her, since she does speak SEVERAL languages and may get confused at times... how many languages do you speak?

  • Alkistis

I am a survivor of extreme child abuse,

and I would like you to know that, much of my belief/opinions are very similar to your own. I was in therapy for the majority of my childhood which didn't help much. I have spent countless hours trying to improve my own perspective and life richness/happiness. I was so pleased when I came across your videos as the msg that you send is exactly what I settled on for myself. B/c i have some issues, I was not so confident in my beliefs, but u help

  • Από τα καλύτερα της κ. Άλκηστης.

  • Excellent true video... very true and very difficult sometimes to get out of that mood.sometimes you just get sucked into it.

or you feel the life is sooo difficult and scary. thank you Alkistis!I think we all need courage to dig into own mind and hearts and analyze and sort things out!!!

  • I agree with allowing one to feel compassion for others and one's self. I disagree with the notion that it is "un-natural to feel anger". Good video however, to challenge us to question our negative feelings. *****

  • And remember, it's just a game!

  • Alkistis is correct, drop the resentment and you will start to live. It follows as such: resentment & anger are judgment which means you are putting yourself above others as a god, naturally following is the knowledge that you are not God, then comes the anxiety, guilt and depression. Summary: resentment/anger > anxiety > guilt > depression. Be still & notice the patterns, you don't need a therapist to help you, just drop the judgment & you'll feel God's love. Forgiving is a form of judgment.

  • lovely purple in those flowers Alkistis. Good advice.

  • I know you don't mean to rub it in...but it has been noted that most people live "lives of quiet desperation" and no amount of psychotherapy is going to change that, and to raise their expectations that somehow they can overcome this general feeling of dissatisfaction will just make them feel worse. I always thought the first noble truth was spot on..."Life is painful" and I now believe that most people are just hardwired that way.

  • Sorry, I disagree, I feel that our true nature is JOY and LOVE.

  • Hi bundangviking, I agree with Alkistis. I my self have been exposed the two issues she is talking about here. I was VERY resentful and still get sometimes VERY negative. I spend all my life money on psychotherapists and prescription drugs until I found AL-ANON with Twelve step program. I think unless you haven't really try EVERY possibility to solve the problem, including surrender, you don't know what you are talking about...including my self.

    Let's be thankful to Alkistis

    Yes,Joy and Love.
