'Death in June' was never originally meant to refer to the night of the long knives or to that murder in Sarajevo; it was a mis-hearing of something Patrick Leagas said. Yes, Pearce has some kind of fixation on Rohm, but it's not Nazi music. The lyrics tend to be more cryptic than straight-up 'about the Reich', the uniforms are simply military (I.E. no SS or SA uniforms), and the rune use stems from Pearce's hallucinogenic occult dabblings with Tibet in his youth. Why do you say wrong? It is an interpretation. Even their band name is a reference to the Third Reich. They wear fascist uniforms in performance, use fascist imagery throughout their art, and the majority of their songs are about fascism and the Reich. They are highly associated with one of the most infamous modern fascists, Boyd Rice. I am not sure what other possible interpretation there could possibly be.
