  • I received this album for Christmas a couple years ago, and I am kicking myself in the face for not knowing about these guys sooner. I've been a Mega Man fan ever since Mega Man 2 (over 20 years), so I'm quite familiar with the official storyline. The Protomen paint a dystopian alternative to Capcom's version, with this album in particular focusing on the events preceding the Mega Man games. Quite frankly, I think the mine story is a great explanation for Light's career choice.
