Will it still be able to recieve internet data? I just spoke with a guy on the phone from cricket store and he told me that it wouldn't be able to recieve internet? Any truth to that?
People, dont fall for this. All he did was add a custom boot animation to say cricket. You CANNOT use a DROID on Cricket. Verizon uses a completly diffrent frequency. Save your money. Also cricket may be about $10 cheaper (my verizon bill is only $58 a month, idk whats wrong with yours) but Cricket has very poor reception and internet speed. You pay more at verizon because you get a lot more.
I want to start off by saying great...thanks for showing us. But why post a commercial? If you know how to do something...then share it!! for free!! Dont charge your fellow youtuber money for idea that can esily replicated. This video is a contradiction....it says "hey pay me for something that can save you money"...how am i saving If i pay for the services....?? Thanks for nothing...hopefully there is someone on here willing to share for the sake of sharing.... Droid is about freedom!!!
@REV7verse9 He's talking about saving money on the cell phone bill. With having the phone flashed to cricket you'll pay $45-55/mo compared to the $80+/mo on another network.
