  • my tdr only goes 110kmh downhil :S what must i do ? katalizator is still in.

  • To get more power I also recommend you to remove the catalyser in the exhaust pipe. Carbon reed-valves are also a very good investment : with those (0.3mm thickness) I got my engine to reach easily 12000rpm versus hardly 10500/11000rpm with the standard fiber reed-valves.

Of course, while modifying your engine specs, you may have to tune the carburation to match the new engine's behavior. I run slightly leaner than the original spec for the main jet and slightly richer for the idle jet

  • @n3o1986

Ok, thank's a lot.... I'll do that on my TDR..... tnx again very much...

  • For the YPVS, according to your mileage you'd start by cleaning it and contact zone with the cylinder. When disassembled, you'll notice that the gaz pass-through surface isn't plane, there's a bump on it : sand it until it's plane and then polish the surface.

Same treatment for the exhaust port. When reassembling, take care to precisely set your cable to align perfectly the valve surface and the exhaust port surface.

  • What did you do with YPVS exactly??/ Please explain me, i don't know how to increase the power on my TDR '98??
