Hi, I've received my m17x few days ago.. with Dual graphic cards 1G each and processor Core Due 2.9G, but I cannot seem to play this game as well as u day.. I get screwed framerates.. is it because I'm mounting the game from an image?
The Xbox 360 has a modified Radeon GPU and a tri-core IBM at 3.2GHz CPU, and the PS3 has a modified 7900GTX and 7-Core IBM CPU. I believe he has the Intel C2D T9600 Dual core at 2.8GHz, even though the clock speed is slower, the Intel CPU has far more power. The dual 260M's in his laptop is basicly a die shrunk 9800M GTX. Still though, the laptop blows the consoles away.

The playstation uses a IBM cell processor. it does not have a graphics processor.. so transfer lighting and shadows are also dubbed down, for example arkham asylum compare it to the pc version on any pc that has the recomended requirments..the xbox and playstation come up short...always..think of it this way, "games are made on computers"...the new M17x is the most powerfull gaming laptop on the plannet...for now.
Processing power,...You kidding me? How sure are you of that, nvidia makes the graphics processor on the xbox, I have a xbox, trust me games will never look or play better on a xbox or a playstation..Have you ever played Crysis?

Your right about the xbox part, its all crap hardware, but the ps3 is capable of PC graphics, if not better, killzone 2 looks just as good as crysis in terms of graphics, and it only used 56 percent of the ps3's computing power
no it doesnt consoles are a LONG way away from competing graphically with computers. the reason is that console companies purposely dont make em 2 look as good as pc gfx cuz then the hardware would drive up ur consoles 2 about a grand a piece or more
yeah the frame rate is stuck at 60 because you need to turn it to variable... if you want to see my system run street fighter 4.. i just used fraps to take pictures. i only have the benchmark tool, and so you can see my final score and average fps on the last photo of the vidoe, please take a look, i would also like to know your average fframes from the benchmark if you have it for the sli 260m

@mzzzm make sure you have your gfx on. use the fn key and hit f7. that was my problem. i accidentally turned off my gaming graphics card

Benchmarking is a tool in the game that measures the performance of you gpu... The higher the settings and the higher the score the better your pc..
