Wow! I was at this show. I can't believe it was 24 years ago The funny thing is that on the ride to the show, Cold Rain & Snow came on WMMR, and it happened to be raining lightly with just a bit of snow. We got to the Spectrum around 9:00 am. Longest and best party I've ever been to.

when i was a baby my dad played me all his songs to see which music i would like at that age. i cried at everything he played me. then i heard dire wolf. i laughed and went to sleep with a smile. since that day the dead are still my favorite band 18 years later. thankyou captain, nothing better than going on a dead trip :)

I love how Garcia screws up the last verse, but plays it off like the genious he was. Who cares when Garcia forgets lyrics, I think it's a creative moment to try and scramble to find the words, and improvising is Garcia's God given talent. This footage is from 1986. Dire wolf had been in rotation for some time, how can Jerry forget the lyrics? Who cares, like I said the mishaps are spontaneous and inventive.(well, not all of them)
