  • can i use an inverter whilst driving or it can only be used when the car is switched off?

  • You connect the inverter to a "bank" of batteries, not a single battery. I got 5 deep cycle batteries and a 1000W inverter on my solar system at home.

  • Lets see 4000 watts at 12v= 333.33 amps or 10 minute of battery life.

    2000 watts is too much amps on any battery, at 166.66 amps in just enough to start our car.
