You don't know football. Sanders has got to be one of the most overrated top 10 running backs of all time. His line did not suck. Countless times his line created holes that he could take for a definite 5-10 yard gain, instead he ran by those holes, and danced around in the backfield, which gave the D-line plenty of time to make it around the O-line. Also, he has low first downs and touchdowns. but 15,000 yards. That doesn't sound right.
He would have 19 carries for 20 yards, then break a big 80 yard run. That is a 5.0 YPC but he killed the team for the other 19 carries. Also, to be great is to be consistent, tough, and show up when things got tough. In the playoffs his stats are 386 yards and one TD. So much for being the greatest running back. All he has is the most elusive, that is it. Credit due where it is. Other than that, he was constantly putting his team in 2nd and 2rd and long. He hurt his team more than helped
