I work there in the radio station that is in the camp. I'm a Pastor in the Island. Curiously, nobody speaks about that sign or manifestation there. I have seen the video and is very difficult to define; it is blurred. But I'm convinced it is a reflection of the light in the camera lense. I have seen in the past a lot of this kind of claims based on speculations and imagination. We christians are grounded in the Scriptures, not in this kind of stuff.

Taking one instance out of the Bible and trying to apply it to all situations or this this situation in an attempt to validate it is not only taking things out of context but is the result of poor exegesis and poor hermeneutics.

If I were an angel wanting to make my presence known, I think I'd go for something less ambiguous. Didn't get a shot of the late Pope John Paul II in a picture of flames recently? Also, the narrator/reporter lady said that at first they saw a demonic image, then angelic. If this was indeed supernatural, and if that first image was demonic, I'd be worried about the possibility that this was not a demon conquered by an angel, but rather a demon who appeared in the form of an angel.

I disagree. Salvation is not "based" on the sighting of an angel, Mother Theresa's face on a doughnut, or any other such thing. Salvation is based on Christ. Jesus said that nobody comes to the Father except through Him. Even if He chose to use something that may or may not be real, the point is, He drew someone to Himself through it. It is not for us to decide how He does that, or to determine if someone's salvation is safe or legitimate because that is the method He used.

Funny, that "angel" only moves when the cell phone moves. It's stationary when the cell phone is stationary, and the entire video imagery moves in like manner, distorting proportionally as the hand moves. (and only 15 seconds of dancing?)

Ok with regards to lens flare they only take place with still shoots and in video it will cut in and out at different angles hello!!!! This doesn't cut in and out the angel moves around the fire if it where a lens flare it couldn't have done that. I used my brain how about u? :)))

I work there in the radio station that is in the camp. I'm a Pastor in the Island. Curiously, nobody speaks about that sign or manifestation there. I have seen the video and is very difficult to define; it is blurred. But I'm convinced it is a reflection of the light in the camera lense. I have seen in the past a lot of this kind of claims based on speculations and imagination. We christians are grounded in the Scriptures, not in this kind of stuff.

Taking one instance out of the Bible and trying to apply it to all situations or this this situation in an attempt to validate it is not only taking things out of context but is the result of poor exegesis and poor hermeneutics.

not only that, that something that is truly from God lin es up with the Bible as this is our only way to test whether or not something is of God, and we must test, lest we be decieved.
To say that just because people do not believe means it is of God is a little bit silly. That is like saying that God exist because I believe he does. Or vice verse, just because I believe its from God does not mean it is either, it has to line up with scripture.

Not sayig I believe that the angel is real, but how can you say a angelic visitation couldn't lead someone to God if it isn't genuine? I don't believe there is anything in scripture that hints that angelic visitations can't lead people to God if they are indeed genuine, but rather angels (not fallen angels) are called usually brought as messengers of God, which is consistent throughout scripture.
Whether or not this instance is genuine, I cannot say, but that's not my point.

This is just another sad commentary on how gullible people are to accept anything, but the Word of God. Reflective light on a camera lens is more important than to humbly bow to the teaching of the eternal Scriptures! If I were an angel wanting to make my presence known, I think I'd go for something less ambiguous. Didn't get a shot of the late Pope John Paul II in a picture of flames recently? Also, the narrator/reporter lady said that at first they saw a demonic image, then angelic. If this was indeed supernatural, and if that first image was demonic, I'd be worried about the possibility that this was not a demon conquered by an angel, but rather a demon who appeared in the form of an angel.

I personally think this is legit, since it has been verified by experts. Regardless, God is using it! If someone meant this as a hoax, it has really backfired, dontcha think? God has taken this and used it for His own purposes, regardless of whether the miracle is real or not. Nobody comes to the Father unless except through Christ...even if Christ uses a contraversial video to do it.

Not cool! Saw this on Godtube. It is no angel! The image moves with the camera, it is merely a reflection of the fire on the camera lense. I have e-mailed extremeprophetic for their comments. As yet, no reply!
Put your cursor on the screen and you will see that when the camera moves so does the image - up down left right. She says it herself that the other guy could not see it until he looked at it through his friends cellphone. No more miraculous than Mother teresas face in a doughnut!

Thank you VJ. I was beginning to think that EVERYONE had been put under some sort of spell. I guess some people see what they want to see. I agree with you. It makes a mockery of the gospel. BTW still no reply from Len@extremeprophetic. (no surprise there!)

I couldnt agree more, its no wonder why most people think christians are a joke. It's because of this kind of mindless rhetoric. It actually hurts me that people are tryingt o make money like this. And i feel even worse for the people that are buying it =(

I disagree. Salvation is not "based" on the sighting of an angel, Mother Theresa's face on a doughnut, or any other such thing. Salvation is based on Christ. Jesus said that nobody comes to the Father except through Him. Even if He chose to use something that may or may not be real, the point is, He drew someone to Himself through it. It is not for us to decide how He does that, or to determine if someone's salvation is safe or legitimate because that is the method He used.

Of course God performs miracles. Saying this is not an angel does not undermine that. Saying that it is (when it is plainly no such thing) certainly does.

God works - then you believe! God is NOT reliant on me believing. What gospel are you reading?
