  • I MIGHT be able to make a game with these..... Only problem is i don't have Max and I don't know how to use it. XD

    Also i haz a question, do the .DDS files contain the textures?

    Where do I put them or do I paint the model with it using script?

    If it is by scripts I will find a way to do it.

    Game Maker on Yoyogames . c o m is capable...You have no need to use code unless you get into the advanced sections. 3D is kinda complicated but you can extend GM to interact with DLL's like FMOD, Newton Game Dynamics, and a LOT more...

  • im on a game tech degree at the moment. if we have assignments such as gameplay programming we are usually given models to start with unless we supply our own. would you mind if i used a couple of yours? will be used for demos later on so games companies might be looking at your work at some point ;-)

    will give full credit to you for the 3dmax models ofc.

  • hey how can your transfure the file into a game with the animations set in place?

    Like would they be smart enough too fight without having too put them in other games?OR would they fight with like ohh :See player must kill. Is that what it would do?

  • Well, those are fast on purpose, and they still have a sense of weight...

    But it was all motion capture so it's hard to mess up.

    These are like...TOO robotic looking.

  • Yeah its a great model for games basicly to anyone who wants to try it out. like me for example, im just starting to learn game design now because i may go into the industry instead of the movie so i gotta learn that too. when i get the hang of the basics, ill get that file from turbosquid or send it to me by email i guess. if u can

  • Yep that one was probably yours then. did you post the models that say rigged or something on them? u said its like for videogames or something.

  • yeah this guy was originally made for a game engine demo some buddies of mine were putting together, but this was back when I was first learning ZBrush, and I made the base model with ZSpheres, so it's a terrible, hideous mesh, but it can still be used for games for free if anyone wants 'em.

    ive come to a model like this once, almost the same.

  • this is my model, although it's crappy enough I kinda wish I could blame it on someone else! :-) Anyone can download it for free on Turbosquid, along with a bunch of my other models. I give a lot of my old models away for free, so it's flattering if you saw this somewhere else! :-)

  • What you should do, is make some but split curts on its back, and drooling blood, that would make it more scxary. Still, this is great! Cant wait to play your game o_0

  • Thanks! Mostly 3dsMax, but I used ZBrush to create the higher-poly proxy for the normal maps.

  • get havok to give you ragdoll physics - that would rock with those deadly models!
