@ShaurntheSheep As far as I can see, he doesn't solve the cube for real, if that's what you mean. There's a jump right after the hand goes in front of the cube. The cube goes in fully scrambled, and comes out almost solved, with only two moves left, which are then shown clearly. Pause the film, and then keep double clicking on the play/pause button to step through it slowly, you'll see what I mean...
