Yo Common is one of the nicest dudes to ever touch the mic. Intelligent, poetic, but you know Common ain't bitch either, he just ain't ever on some wil' out nigga shit. He's a real dude.

You can tell his influences range from shit like jazz, the civil rights movement, pop culture to real street shit (DOOM and Mos Def too). Def one of the most versitile poets in the game.

I thought Ye would be on this to. I must say Kanye West is my favorite artist. but looking at consequence I remember his verse on "Gone" which was fire. I also like his voice so I'm happy with either artist on the track : )
