  • I like the color you chose to paint your case I the same case but I want to paint the entire interior blue and the outside white.

  • looks great

  • i'm going to get one of this case and i'm going to paint the case all black do you think i need to pop all those rivets to paint or i can paint the case without taking the parts cause i'm lazy to do that .. hehehe, Thanks!

  • Yeah u can paint it without removing all the parts, but there are few blind spots, so u might not be able to get a proper finish.

  • the black is exactly what I planned to do! but I've never though about the blue-ish parts. my plan was - everything black. you gave my interesting ideas - but how did you place the HDD cage back? u drilled out the rivets if I understood u corectly? plz PM me as I am really interested in taking the case apart. ty

  • Yeah I drilled it out, after painting it separately u can put them back to gather no problem.

  • alright, thats fine. BUT (Ive been thinking of painting my case with a Testors spray black I have) wont that create a heat conduction problem (aw well as a flammable one?)

  • I wouldn't worry much about it. I would say go ahead with the painting.

  • what paint'd you use? enamels? acrylics? high temp auto paint?

  • I used Auto Paints..

  • high temp engine paint? or body paint?

also: did u use a primer? (it's galvanized steel so how'd you get the paint to stick?)

  • @Crawlerz246 yes you have to use the primer on any metal or anything you paint on most of the time when its suppose to be look nice in the end

  • you can not use the drill ... you just press the switch
