I really love your project/work/crafting, but wish you had let us know how to build the basic album ...that is what I was really interested in the most. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate all the hard work you put into it and it is perfectly gorgeous but I am really interested in knowing what you used for the base of the book!
Hi Lynn, there are many youtube videos explaining the basic album. There are also several ways to make one. I am not sure if this is an envelope album or not.
Laura from "Following the paper trail" has great tutorials on the "Stack the Deck" mini envelope album building. You can also check "Ustream videos"

@calichina1 I bought this paper at JoAnns last year. It is called Nectar, and it is by COLORBOK. I have not seen this paper collection at any other store. I hope this helps. Kelli

This is gorgeous. I love the colors. I liked that you stepped out of your comfort zone to try something new. I like that you left room for normal size pictures. So many mini's now are so full of embellishments and so tiny you have to make your own teeny pictures. One of my favorite ways to make butterflies that match my album is to stamp a butterfly on the patterned paper I used, cut out the butterfly and put on glossy accents real thick. Dry overnight. So pretty. Add wire and pearls.
