Like anyone, just need to keep doing it and perfecting breath control and create a better legatto line that will smooth out the voice. But, the voice is marvelous, and you really tried to do justice to the true sound of this song. I applaud you for that! I don't think I'm better or worse, I'm also walking my own path to refinement. I only have 2 videos 4 videos on Youtube of which I'm only proud of one. Look for JEHEREMY. One thing I can tell you is to work on body expression of the sub/text!

The vibrato was excellent in many parts, i.e.: though the phoenix but sounded forced in others; relax and let the vibrato come on its own.

The bridge left something to be desired; when I perform this (and I have many times) the bridge is my favorite part because the chance for vocalization there (even if you simply copy Joshs vocalization); it really brings more passion into the piece.

I really liked the unique falsetto ending. I may steal that the next chance I have to perform this.

86Wadley, thanks for the great comments, it's great to receive it from fellow performers and will take it on board.

I've learnt a lot since this audition last year, it's my first time in this genre. It was for the Seth Riggs Summer vocal program held in LA in July 08 and I got a chance to perform this on opening night which was a real blast.

Hey, thanks for the reply! I'm trying to figure out how I can get my voice on YouTube; I don't have even a webcam or mike to use, and I wanna do it right if I'm going to do it at all. I want folks to hear my voice on something better than a webcam, but I'm a poor student who can't afford stuff like that, haha.
