I Was Born march 25, 1989 with tof with pulminary artesia . I've Had 4 open heart surgerys i havent had one since i was 5 yrs old i've had 10 heart caths i've also had a stint put in my air way to help me breath better i've been in & out of the hospitals my whole life but to my family im just a normal 21 yr old even though growing up wasnt easy i think my heart conditon made me who i am today my godson was born with same conditon he will be having his first open heart surgery in a few months
Aloha. Our daughter was born with the same thing last year. She's 1 year old and had full repair done at 6 months of age. Had a 9 yr old childs aorta put in to take place of pulmonary artery. The doctors who do these types of surgeries are a God sent. May God continue to bless Bailey and the rest of your family.
she is sooo beautiful. my daughter also had her first open heart surgery when she was only 2days old. she was born with half a heart and pulmonary atresia also. she just had her fourth open heart at almost 3years old. i hope everything goes well for your precious baby. did they find out when you were still pregnant?
in december ive heard that i in april must do surgery, that night i and my mother prayed to god all day long, next day the doctor say that i must do a mri scan for shurense, 2 days later de doctor said that my heart is just fine... if that isnt a miracle then shoot me :D
My son Peyton went through his surgery at eleven weeks old - it is the hardest thing to see them like that. We went through nicu when he was born too. He is also tof but only had to have the one surgery. Hope your october surgery went well!
Hey guys and Bailey, just wanted to let you know that as the auntie of a wonderful little guy who was also diagnosticated with TOF, I understand what you are going thru. He too as your baby, is amazing and is scheduled to undergo surgery on september and we pray to God that everything will be ok. I'm sending you my most sincere support and will be also praying for Bailey, because this kids deserve to be happy and healthy, thoroughout their entire lives.

this is exactly what i went through. My daughter has TOF. we went thru NICU when she was born and one open heart surgery

She is gorgeous and wanted to say i will be thinking of you on the pending surgery in October. My son too has CHD and had OHS at 1 week old.
