Ah Mal, you always make me smile! Just great! And I love that the very next clip on the right here is "Fleur du Mal"!! (Don't love that its Brightman though!!)
The best thing is that you're making people happy Mal - me included :) - I think it will always be important for the honour of the magic of music to be remembered, that despite this remarkable and traceable phenomenon of the naughties, that just like the12bar blues or the 1645 of the 50's, these chords instinctively speak to creator&listener alike of the human accord that so much could be expressed and felt by their providence. So despite repetition, music will always be magic & always new! La..
...always new and yet always familiar. I bet none of the writers of those songs sat down and said "Today I will write a 1564". And songwriters will stumble onto that progression forever more just because it sounds right for them at that time, as much as a blues, a 1625, 1415 or the old 1m b7 b6 5 thang might at other times. Bewdy.

No doubt about that... it's sooooo TMS (take me seriously) eh! It's not quite famous enough in my world to go in my medley, but yay, thanks.
malwebb1 2 years ago
haha but if you add it then you'll have 69 songs in it. and we all know how the number 69 is funny and attracts attention :D

although a few parts seemed a bit too squished up.
but keep up the good work :)

Great stuff - Downunder is actually inverted on the V (to give it the decending bassline), but close enough.
Also Beast of Burden and Long Way Round(Stereophonics) use a I V VI IV.

It rocks, man! You can add "Well, I Wonder" by the Smiths to your compilation. :D
dorcik93 2 years ago
@dorcik93 Hmmm, maybe it's the versions I heard, but "Well, I Wonder" seems to have a rather different progression (13645 etc). I wonder...
