  • Grant's backup vocals are so good here

  • Totally amazing.

  • This song always makes me cry. Husker Du were so amazing....

  • @gnarlorg husker du forever.

  • "We're all exchanging pleasantries no matter how we feel." In one line, they pretty much captured my day to day working life...

  • Great tune! ahhh... the 80s...!

  • i think warehouse is awesome album. Yea, maybe its a bit "uneven" if i may, but freaking gigantic for me still! Thank you for uploading! ps. Finland Ice Hockey World Champions 2011 ;-) Hieno homma

  • right before the wheels came off. I like the Warehouse songs better live. That record's got a weird dead vibe to it.

  • 0 dislikes.... it's natural, is husker du : )

  • Husker is an acquired taste as is beer, scotch, and caviar-all the good stuff!

  • The last Vinyl I bought-Warehouse cool album cover great songs -time flies!

  • porca madonna!!!

  • cool bass guitar

  • Brilliant. The sort of thing that would have got hippy twats like Crosby Stills and Nash shitting themselves.

  • @CraigG1960 the fuck do crosby stills and nash have to do with this?

  • @kwakky Because they were always boasting about how great their harmonies were and because they would have shit themselves if they heard it.

  • @CraigG1960 as great as this band was, you can't possibly be saying that mould and hart's live harmonies were as good as csny's, or even good at all.

  • @kwakky Maybe so, but their introspective, dissonant post-hardcore was definatinely better than CSNY's introspective, dissonant post-hardcore.

  • @cubistblues Heheh... CSNY's post-hardcore days... Boy am I fond of those. Remember back when David Crosby was straight edge and would stage-dive into the crowd and start a circle pit that would end up swarming the band on stage and they would continue to play harder and faster until they were 10 Miles High and Rising?

    Man, that was epic!

  • @kwakky y<es,what a fuck??!

  • as many of the other posters have said this is one of the best songs ever. somehow it makes much more sense to me at age 40 than it did when I first heard it at age 19 ..... "if you don't stop to smell the roses now they might end up on you" and "expectations only mean you really think you know what's coming next, and you don't" are words to live by....

  • The power, the fury...THE 'DU!! Amazing!!

    HUSKER DU

    HUSKER DU

    HUSKER DU

    HUSKER DU

  • Einfach nur schön! Ich würde alles für ein Konzert der drei tun!

  • chefragoo, you could not have phrased it better. Fantastic.

  • one of the most beautifullest song in this whole stupid world.

  • just about the best band ever, just ask Nirvana

  • stick nirvana fair comment though aye but whrer is Greg ?

  • Great concert i'm not a fun of husker du but i like very much their music it's so original

  • "yearbooks with their autographs from friends you might have had..these are your important years. you better make this last!"

thanks for posting this! long live husker du!

  • Amazing band, I feel SO lucky to have caught them once, I had just turned 16. Less than a year later, they broke up. The harmonizing on this kills.

  • I also saw them in Kansas City, early 1987, right before they broke up - and I'm SO glad I did! One of the best, most influential yet unsung bands of all time.

  • How cool that you saw that show! Saw the very last show in Columbia at the Blue Note the next night! And what a dark night it was

  • I saw them at Temple University Gym in Philadelphia when they toured for this album (Warehouse...).. early 1987 I think. They played every song from the album. Really glad I got to see them before they broke up, soon after the tour actually.

  • the bass player looks exactly like the boss I had when I worked at Jack-In-The-Box.

  • They were in Finland then, and I was only 8 years old. To my life they came a much later. That´s a shame. :/

  • Sound of my youth, please come back...

  • @mackusch hey, i wasn't even alive and I can still enjoy this sound. It's not gone, just enjoy the albums.

  • @mackusch old fogey

    great song

  • incredible band.

  • Buena rolita, viva los Huskers!

  • best song ever made

  • A really great song. I bought "Warehouse" while in law school and this was the first one I heard. I've always loved it so, so much.

  • best song ever made.

  • pure genius. also note the harmony vocals from grant.

  • "falling in and out of love just like..." Makes me cry.

  • ahahah I love husker du!
