Kaitaia was a very friendly wee town. Wasn't there for long but the people could not have been more accomadating. I drove from there to Stirling Point, Bluff, in 10 days. My love for the country is well documented here on YouTube and I WILL be back one day. Raise a cold glass for me when you get there !!
