Actually, if you ever watched the E! True Hollywood Story about the movie, they had big blowouts with each other on the set. The scene where he's teaching her to dance and every time he grazes her underarm, she laughs, that was a real scene. She kept laughing and ruining the scene and he's getting genuinely pissed off. They decided to keep it because it just worked so perfectly. That's just one example, but there's lots out there about it if you Google it.

But they were good actors and they respected each other.
